发帖数: 28 | 3 首先需要说明的是女生喜欢friends完全可以理解, 和她们喜欢titanic这种类型的电影其
实是一个道理. 这类作品大体上都是温馨浪漫的色调, 一般都有帅哥美女, 爱情也是不可
缺少的佐料, 结局虽然有喜有悲, 但也是为了满足女生做各种梦的需要. 实际上大量的影
视作品都可以或多或少的划入这一类, 同时也有不少佳作. 但可惜friends即使在同类作
品中, 也只是下驷之作. 问题就在于这个由二流剧本加几个三流演员打造成的作品实在是
太虚假了. 假到了我无法完整地看完任何一集的地步. 这种作品要拍好, 就是要把纯粹想
象出来的没有生活基础的东西拍得真实可信打动人心, 不是胡编乱造加上几个蹩脚演员的
胡闹那么简单.
Seinfeld则是一部划时代的艺术作品. 象这种以无奈的自嘲为主色调的影视作品本来就不
多见, 但艺术质量却惊人地高和整齐. 这就叫没有金刚钻, 不揽这瓷器活.
去年的American splendor就是代表之一: 虽然影片以漫画体的形式进行, 但出色的表演
和对生活的真实感触使它稳稳地排在2003年的Top 5影片之中. 然而即使是这样一部优秀
的电影作品仍然不能和 |

sexier, and since AS will be released on HBO in august, i am doing it here.
it is a great movie. be prepared to be bored by the first 20 minutes though.
it talks about an "underground" comic writer who writes about his own life.
so expect a lot of blendings between real life scenes and comic characters.
i can tell you it has been well edited. and the story is well told. |

书作者，就像这里被评价的有点夸张。
不过一战、二战之间的奥匈帝国／奥地利確是很有趣。
顺便再隆重推荐一下，我成年以后唯一记得有印象的长篇小说，奥地利作者robert
musil 的《the man without quantities》（中译：没有个性的人）。
ps，维特根斯坦弟弟paul wittengenstein的故事里，我偶像Prokofiev还友情出演了。

为什么没有我偶像maurice ravel呢？呃，以前就听说paul介个左手刚擎家，当时还想
ludwig witetngenstein他弟很牛阿，看prokofiev的评价，凡事都抗不住有钱。。。

Splendor。她是搞文化史的，还不错。
David Johnson也是个中规中矩的唐宋史的，做民间宗教研究。
还有三个比较年轻，比如Alexander Cook是党史和文革史的。
斯坦福的超级大腕是Mark Edward Lewis，六朝隋唐的。Timothy Brook给哈佛编了一套
中国通史，Lewis居然连写三本，从秦汉写到唐。今後如果剑桥中国史要出六朝卷，估
计主编就是他了。
另一个是Matthew Sommer，算是中等水平的学者吧，搞性、法律一类比较吸引眼球的话
题。
斯坦福还有一个Thomas Mullaney,是个年轻人，搞现代史的。他最近出了本书Coming
to Terms with Nation: Ethnic Classification in Modern China，我没有看过，不
过前言居然是Benedict Anderson（《想象的共同体》作者）写的。内容我想不外乎是
中国如何学苏联划分民族，现在遇到的困境、这种苏联式制度反而加强民族认同等等。

朋友一起去看。
同意Swordsman指出的Cinder-ella用这个后妈后姊侮辱她的绰号来自称是个破绽，编剧
也没辙了吧，必需点童话的题。另外开头也不大好，Cinderella与生身父母共度的童年
场景万般糖水，父母演得太过刻意。不过Cinderella表演不错，形象更加分，大方明媚
显示其善良，俊眉、方颌、热爱骑马显示其勇毅，正符合她的生母的临终遗言：
“Have courage and be kind.”
Cinderella在日后的悲惨生涯里反复比照这句人生箴言，用以自励。这不就是儒家所说
的仁勇吗？我记得写《How To Train Your Dragon》时也用了这个词。谁说东西永参商
，在基本人文理念方面，各个文明都有共识。Cinderella是不是更像东方人，在电影里

从谱面上看，G4 和 F4 上面都不需要延长音。长度只有八分
音符。就算唱歌时即兴一下，怎么也超不过四分音符。长音的
高音到 E4，E4 不算太高。
当就算是 E4 也还可以了。很多 easy listening 的歌也就
这个高度，甚至可能还没这个高。但是高音要唱的很open很飘，
高音难度就要高很多。举个例子，《Love Is A-Many

昨天Carnival又一艘船在海上失去动力。Carnival Triumph在Yucatan半岛北部150英里
处engine room起火，自动的救生系统切断全部动力。然后船就在海上随着洋流漂浮了
。大部分的电力丧失，全部的空调和排水系统停转，已经几乎所有的餐厅都停止服务，
船上屎尿横流，自助餐厅排队有三个小时，而且食物和饮用水几乎用完。终于拖船今天
早上到达，也送了一些方便食品和饮用水，大概要拖2-3天才能回到Alabama。
好像Carnival的事故不是一天两天，简直就是家常便饭了。这样的超级烂公司，以后再
便宜都不会考虑
2010年2月，同一天时间里，两艘Carnival的船都在靠港中撞击码头，造成船体和
gangway都损坏严重。

最近看了2个影碟，都是和中国有关的美国电影吧。
一个是韩素音的自传，Lov is A Many-Splendored Thing, 50年代的电影。一个是the
painted veil，2006年的电影。
韩素音那个电影看着不行，有隔膜，和以前看海明威的电影一样，不知道五六十年代是
表演有隔阂了还是电影的表现手法有隔阂了。反正好容易坚持看完了。女主角很漂亮，
但是不觉得是有中国气质的美女——当然了我也没有见过50年代中国美女。只是电影中
素音总是强调她是中国人。而且，其中出现的中国演员，素音的家人，从表演到对话都
觉着象木偶。。。
