说几点看法。
1） 我没去研究过jimmy kimmel团队的运作模式和track record，但是就印象里来说，
他们应该和好莱坞的众多大腕明星是非常close的，奥斯卡颁奖每年的转播忘了是否是
ABC了，不过至少jimmy kimmel几次和matt daemon的斗嘴搞笑回合里，N多的好莱坞明
星都参与其中了，说明jimmy kimmel/ABC团队和好莱坞／明星的关系是非常近的。最直
接的例子就是年初matt daemon代替jimmy kimmel show主持的时候，那一期节目里来了
无数多的好莱坞明星。结合之前大家很多次讨论过的，包括李连杰在史泰隆大片里被当
小丑刻意丑化, 居然还在国内大卖猛赚票房等等, 好莱坞拿华人开涮绝对背后是一伙人

一开始的时候，是电脑的问题，我用的是Dell Desktop 531 + Windows Vista 32,没有
VIA SATA Controller, 装了PortIO32, 可是不知道为什么，Jungleflasher就是不认
Lite-On的光驱，无解，换电脑。
换上我四年前曾成功刷了第一台Xbox 360的Dell 4600（现在也是Vista 32了),重复上
边的过程，这次就一点问题都没有，成功发现Lite-On DG-16D2S.
下一步就是获取DVD Key等信息，这一步要求Power on drive with half tray open 两
次，因为我是直接拔DVD Drive的电源线，手有时不够快，在 Set tray half open时重
复了好几次，不过看来问题不大，搞定DVD key和Dummy.bin.
Load ix16-liteon838.bin成Taget Firmware,Spoofed target firmware, 保存一份备
份。然后就是“Lite-On Erase".

如果用JTAG的话，是不是没有必要给XBox加装硬盘？毕竟直接从USB硬盘读取，不应该
比安装到内置硬盘后的读取慢？假设不考虑联网下载DLC和demo的话。 |

DVD Spoof的优点主要也就是省去刻盘的步骤。

感谢Booker的简介。上个星期六拿到了这本书，到昨天终于结束了。在不剧透的前提下
，说一下感想。
首先，简要介绍一下作者，David Mitchell。英国人，算是“青年”作家，1969年生。
有写古怪小说的历史。他的第一本小说，《Ghostwritten》，也是一本很古怪的作品，
跟这本《云图》有些类似，据说没有《云图》这么老练，毕竟是处女作。
前两年的《New Yorker》上有他的2010年新书《The Thousand Autumns of Jacob De
Zoet》的Review，把他跟Eco和Nabokov比较。据说这本《The Thousand Autumns of
Jacob De Zoet》有一些海战的描写，让人想起Patrick O’Brian，另一个我很喜欢的
作家。这本新书讲述荷兰东印度公司跟日本的交往中的故事，又是一个我很感兴趣的题
材。这本书已经放到我的书单上了。
绕回来，接着说《云图》。这本书是2004年的作品，当年的Man Booker的Shortlist，
还有2005年的星云奖提名。
