而且需要把以前的漆完全去掉,用的LIQUID SANDER溶液也比较刺激.
所以有小孩子的就要注意.做的时候房间一定要通风很好的. |

比较糟糕，居然有的不是同一种木头，这样stain出来容易颜色不均匀，当然也是
painter比较不负责。后来的注意到这点就好很多。
我们家remodeling先开始对我来说是吓人的数字，后来就近乎某种红色的流动的物体了
。。。所以自动屏蔽了数字了。 |

我们是用小鼠胚胎的软骨和骨头染色的protocol。染软骨的话只用Alcian Blue即可。
最后胚胎用BABB处理就会变得透明。BABB危险，而且会腐蚀显微镜，使用时要小心。很
多动物的胚胎都可以用类似的方法染骨头（红色）和软骨（蓝色）：鼠，龟，蛇，鸡，
鱼，蜥蜴，变色龙，蝙蝠。。。而且都很漂亮！

说，却是个很大的数目了。
情况比较复杂，大致如下：

房子的租期是今年6月1日到8月1日，短租的暑假，租金750每月，security deposit同
样的数目。与其他两名室友合租。
8月1日查房的时候房东发现她的granite counter top有一块变色了，很不高兴，想把
整块counter top换了，说要扣留我们的security deposit，会找公司报价之后再联系
我们。她说肯定是我们把烫的锅子直接放在台子上造成的。我们一直不承认。因为那一

ponceau stain，结果差异很大。具体点说在silver stain上可以看到所有subunit，而
且都是equal intensity的非常strong的band，但是在coomassie stain和ponceau
stain上只可以看到2条，另一条消失了？silver stain条带的强弱和蛋白量的多少关系
不大，band强不一定代表量多对吧，但是不至于在coomassie stain和ponceau stain上
一点都看不到啊... |

运用protocol.
UW 41 offline cases: 我当时和partner每个case仔细做一遍，虽然不像online有反馈
，但对练临床思维，补充protocol非常有帮助。最后考试与41 case有异曲同工之处，
遇到复杂case也不慌神。

发帖数: 7016 | 30 看你原来的是paint还是stain，一般来说deck用stain，homedepot, lowes, sherwin
williams都有deck stain remover。啧上后保持潮湿，15-30分钟后用power wash或者
普通的水管冲。该掉的就该掉了，如果你准备用solid stain，没有掉的也能盖住，如
果用transparent或者semi-transparent，那就得刮刮。
stain有三种，transparent, semi-transparent, solid stain，看你的木头的新旧，
如果已经比较有年代了建议用solid stain，这样可以最好地保护木头，延长寿命。
一般来说deck stain之后就不再用paint了。 |

to draw some air out, otherwise everytime you open, you get leather smell
from all the shoes inside.
Stain is not so hard, different wood absorb (soak in) differently, what kind
of wood did you use? Porosity of wood can vary greatly, even within the
same piece of wood. End grain and bias-cut grain are far more absorbent,

发帖数: 2438 | 35 不能用wood finish是因为这个会上色，覆盖木头纹理，而且不是给地板用的。刷刷桌
椅板凳还行。
不建议用stain还是因为会上色，不过有些人就喜欢上色，就是不喜欢原色倒是可以用
。上色最大的缺点是不耐操，上了stain,新的很漂亮，一旦有伤，露出木头，非常明显
，颜色不一样了，很难补色。如果只是清漆，有伤不明显，修起来也很容易。stain完
了，要上地板级别的polyurethane,至少3遍。
如果你以前的地板没有stain，只有polyurethane，而且也不打算stain,sand不用非常
干净，然后上至少3遍polyurethane就行了。
如果以前stain过，无论你是不是打算stain,都有sand到木头。 |

发帖数: 3320 | 40 这个要看你原来deck上面是什么涂料，不同的涂料很多不兼容，直接涂上粘不牢。deck
平面，stain比油漆要好，stain是渗透到木头里，油漆在表面覆盖一层。所以油漆时间
长了会起皮，会掉，stain隔两年直接再涂一层就行。stain需要直接涂到木头上才有效
果，所以表面要处理好了，除非是你在原来的stain上隔两再重新加强一下。油漆需要
有primer，这样粘的更牢固，但即使用primer也没有stain效果好。油漆用在垂直平面
上效果比水平面能更持久一些，所以油漆一般都用在栏杆上，地面不建议用油漆。deck
地面建议用oil based stain，但是表面一定要处理好了。 |

stain效果怎样。不含bleach，所以不伤地毯本来的颜色。原文如下：
叫Whip-It。我们是在sams club买东西的时候厂家来推销，本来我们一向对推销的东西
不感兴趣的，但是以前Abby在楼上走廊的地毯拉屎撒尿弄了好多stain，收拾起来非常
头疼，那个powder什么的能弄掉一些，但效果不太好，后来我们都放弃了。当时
builder铺完地毯剩下一些都留给我们了，我们想不行以后就把楼上走廊地毯换掉算了。
当时厂家演示的时候看着不错。我们买了之后一直扔在那没试。结果今天试了一下，真
是惊艳啊，喷上以后拿纸一擦，stain瞬间就没了。我们还又用那个capture powder对
比了一下，天壤之别。。。后来有个food stain，也是一弄就没了。用了几分钟，地毯
上的那些stains都清理干净了。
我看瓶子上写的，earth friendly，no bleach or acid，是利用什么酶实现清洁功能

发帖数: 7016 | 44 这是本周末干的一件事情。桌子原本是一张好桌子，从上到下，Oak的实木桌，相当扎
实，只是面上的漆剥落了，原来的漆工太差，桌沿都是overrun，而桌面却开始脱漆。
这个星期都没鱼钓，于是决定把它翻新了，不过没有原来的样子，等我sand完桌面才想
起来照张照片。最后上了两层clear coat。
几个体会，
sanding是的关键，sanding的质量影响最终的look and feel。砂纸有好坏，好砂纸用
的时间长，差的一碰就掉。
stain最好只上一道，然后在１５分钟左右要把多余的stain擦干净，才能在最短时间达
到最佳效果。
如果需要颜色深一点，在第一次stain的时候就上厚一点，保留时间稍稍长一点，但不
要超过２０分钟，然后擦干净。
最好不要上第二道stain，颜色变化不会太大，因为第一道stain已经把表面seal了，第
二道上上去不会有太大效果，而且不容易干。我这么干了，但后来认识到这个问题。
没有干的stain会影响第一层clear coat，使得第一层clear coat难以在预定时间里变
干。进而影响第二层coat的完成。 |

我知道senescence associated beta-gal staining 是最常见的方法检测senescence是
否发生了改变.可不幸的是我们的flox老鼠在构建的时候插入了beta-gal基因.所以当我
们基因被knockout后,beta-gal就会表达.我们平时用普通beta-gal staining 这个来
trace deletion effeciency and etc.
我的问题是还能用senescence associated beta-gal staining (SA-b-gal) 来检测
senescence是否发生了变化?注意到SA-b-gal staining的ph值要求是6.我们平时做的
staining是ph 7.其它步骤都是一样的.是不是可能这个ph的一点不同,能够使我们老鼠
中依然可以做senescence associated beta-gal staining.
anyway,我还是可以做western 检测marker.据我所知有PAI-1,P21,P53,P19.我发现P19,

in below is also pure speculation.
Here I attach a pic what I stained with LYVE-1 in LN,
which is also inflammatory.
The red signal is LYVE-1, blue is B cell region.
Fat should not be problem in isolating LN.
I agree with you that there might be problem of specific staining.
I assume that in the LN of his model, here might be expansion of
