求版上高人，我和LG刚在美国登记结婚(他B2过来领的证） 因为办绿卡的原因，现在打
算回去签H4 再过来，因为我们结婚时间比较短，况且他又是B2过来结的婚，我怕VO会
为难他不能顺利拿到签证，所以计划回去陪他去签证，顺便也看看家人。知道我们需要
都填DS-160 约到同一面谈时间， 问题是我的H1b visa stamp 是去年底才签的，一年
有效，我并不需要一个新的visa stamp 回美，这种情况下我再约 H1b 签证会不会不合
理， 有没有负面效果，另外如果真签能不能要求VO不给新的Visa stamp， 因为需要尽
快回来上班不想等visa, 汗！

子邮票的信件/包裹后会再加盖邮戳吗？
我九月11日买的东西，要求30 内有邮戳的rebate，所以今天，十月十日是最后可邮寄
的一天。但是今天是Columbus Day，邮局不开门。即使一些开在杂货店的邮局收邮件,
也只能盖明天的邮戳。
试了一下Paypal，没有1st class letter. 所以申请了一个Stamps.com的账号，还能打
日期为今天的邮资（忽视软件警告：今天不collect邮件，根据法规只能打印收邮件的
同一天等等...。）
我的疑问是如果明天邮局收到这些已经用Stamps.com付过邮资的信件，它还会加打明天
的邮戳吗？ |

找了两个公司。一个尚未开价，另一个开价为 stamped concrete $10/sf, regular
concrete $7/sf.
另外原有的砖铺patio和entryway都要remove. 合起来最低价只能砍到$7000.

F1入境时的I-94卡上面的号码和H1B-I797A Approval第一页下面的I-94号码是一模一样
的（仔细找，一定是一样的）。也就是说这个H1B approval直接把F1的I-94期限延长到
了H1B expire的时候（3年以后）。同时，强调一下I-94 with stamp 只是为了证明留
在美国的合法性，既然两个页面的号码一样，那么也就是说自己已经从F1过渡到了H1B
且不需要离开美国再进入，也不需要一个新的I-94 stamp with H1B Visa，因为F1入境
的I-94一直有效，自己的居留也是完全合法的。

请不到。主要是看你们对他到底有没有实际的资助(比如付房租，给生活补助之类的）
。这些资助按道理是要在申请表上汇报的。如实汇报了，你儿子就可能申请不到了。如
果你们对他没有这种实际的资助，那么在你们的税表上，你们就不应该再把他作为
dependent来享受退税的好处。
另外哪怕你孩子能申请到，对于那些年富力强有工作又无娃无负担的申请者，很多州都
有时间限制。比如加州就规定Generally able-bodied adults without dependents
between 18 and 50，三年内只能申请三个月的Food Stamp，除非他/她在workfare或职
业培训项目里。
另外哪怕你孩子能申请到，Food Stamp每个月的最高福利也不到$200。他名校毕业生，
每周末多打个半天工，这个数就有了吧。Food Stamp主要是帮助那些老人，残疾人，单
亲妈妈的。年轻力壮又无娃的去申请，多少会不好看。我孩子如果是这种情况，我宁肯
每月多塞给他$200。 |

是这两者经常混淆。比如这个FAQ：

就说是一回事。
在国内签证的，应该不需要担心同样的事会发生，那里的VO应该是搞得清楚的。
关键是悉尼的VO业务不是很熟,不过还好,他就是让我太太补交一下我的visa stamp而已,
只要等到我的revalidation寄回来,就可以了.
我现在想做的是,在等的同时,想找一些材料来给那边的VO洗洗脑!!!

发帖数: 182 | 50 H1b第一次签证时候被check，但I797有效期至2018。旧的H1b stamp，2016年6月13日到
期。担心再一次回国续签又被check耽误工作。所以想在今年五月底回国续签。如果不
幸又被check。能不能在check期间申请取回护照和旧的stamp在2016年6月10日前回美国
，然后等clearance received以后回国把护照拿去stamp？
