[转帖]欧洲穆斯林化与西方的衰落
说明：这是一本书，《America Alone》 的读书笔记。作者Mark Steyn是美国保
守派，支持共和党，支持伊拉克战争。我发此读书笔记并不表示我赞同其观点。完全是开
卷有益，美国右派的思想，对大多数中国人来说是陌生的。但我的确认为作者所讲述的
问题是真实的而且是严重的。我理解这本书最主要的思想并不是人口，或者伊斯兰，而
是西
方文明的衰落。对于欧洲福利制度，社会民主主义，这一套东西，读了此书我们会有一
个 second opinion。对于美国为什么允许一般人持枪之类的问题，我们也会加深一点
认识。
全书涉及中国部分很少，版主们不必担心。
现代人总觉得应该担心一些事情，he feels good about feeling bad。有什
么事最值得担心呢？
- 核大战么？那是上世纪80年代以前大家担心的事情，那时候大家对核大战如
此担心花样百出，结果证明核大战的担心根本是多余的。

德国总理访问的目的有二：一是向中国保证欧盟解决债务危机的决心，从而希望中国能

不管怎样，到目前为止西方仍然是中国必须正视和打交道的对象。但未来呢？如果从历
史给定的条件来分析，西方文明不仅处于加速衰落的轨道，甚至其存在与否都是未定之
天。

不管怎样，到目前为止西方仍然是中国必须正视和打交道的对象。但未来呢？如果从历
史给定的条件来分析，西方文明不仅处于加速衰落的轨道，甚至其存在与否都是未定之
天。
目前来讲，今天西方文明得意的地方在于其民主制度，在于其轰轰烈烈的选举制度，在
于其为了赢得选战以及选民亲睐而做出种种不切实际但梦幻非常的承诺，在于其向选民
推销的煽情与愤怒……但所有围绕着选举而展开的一切动员都难以掩盖今天西方对于推
动经济发展、遏制金融财团暴利、维持高福利体制以及体现自身民主优越性的乏力。只
因，今天西方的民主制度在历经两百年的积陈积弊后，面临着三个难以解决的困境——
堪称之为压在西方文明身上的三座大山。
一是西方的政策受制于普通的选民。
选民只关心自己的切身利益，对于事关长远、全局甚至全球的事务并不关心，也缺乏足
够的专业知识。德国选民素质之高可冠全球，尤其是环保意识。但只要绿党提出增加燃
