The answer may be similar to why Germans, Swiss and Danes studied physics
and math, relative to Americans, prior to WWII.
That being, a long history of intellectual cultures in those other countries

两年前发生了一起车祸，我从后面撞了前面一辆车。原因是他紧急刹车，我也刹，但距
离太近还是碰上了。车速不高，警察写的20m/per hour。他的车的bumper上有license
plate大小的dent, dent 很浅。他自己没事，靠边停，下车，开始打电话， 没要求叫
ambulance.
我当时就照了照片。事后保险公司给双方照了照片。
但事情到了后来就变得很sticky.他雇了个律师，在他向保险公司索赔时，他申称他车
里有个箱子，撞了他的头，对他造成了脑震荡和其他一系列的影响，要求赔偿12万。我
虽然当时照了照片，但没记得照车内。从现有的照片来看，看不清楚他车里有没有箱子。
保险公司认为他overstate personal injury,认为索赔金额在2.5万之内，也就是我的
保险limit之内。
双方没达成一致，两年过去了，现在他的律师file a lawsuit against me.

I felt the engine is heavy, I had to use more effort than my prior 2001

From my reading and experience, I know it burns more oil when you do long
distance highway driving, but less with local driving.
Changing to a sticky oil, say, 10W30 might help a bit. |
