700到西班牙, 她今天又说要$1200因为误了飞机.

Carfax doesn't tell you any mechanical problems. It only
helps
you identify vehicles that have been totalled (per insurance
company claim), stolen and recovered, and so on ----
something
that would leave a record in the DMV. A car
with "clean CARFAX record" can be a complete piece of junk.
Most cars in local junkyard have clean records too, as long
as they were never stolen, or got into a serious accident
AND
the owner reported to the insurance company. |

Previous case: someone A used a fake cashier check to buy a car from a
private seller B, and A took B's car/key/title. After a week B found out
the cashier check was fake and reported it as "lost car". Then A sold this
car to C with car/key/title for cheap price but demanding CASH. C paid cash
, and went to DMV but was told by DMV that "stolen" status. |
