建议吗？大家从来没见过媒体报道 Stoops 类似的事迹，是不是？
Stoops 有个专门给患癌症的小孩搞的基金会，他刚来OU之后就有了，但是
一直秘密运营，直到今年早些时候才公开，因为他终于想通了，这样虽然有可
能有人说他炒作，但是毕竟可以募集到更多的钱，做更多的事。
10年以来，他执教之余很多时间都花在了去OKC的一家儿童医院探望身患癌症
的小孩身上，护士说他每星期平均去两三次，有时候每天去，甚至上午下午各去
一次。从来都是 show up unannounced, 不带OU官方随从，更不会通知
媒体。去了之后所有的住院小孩他都能 greet by name， 每次花几个小时
在那里给小孩读书. 所有的小孩都把他当作自己的朋友和 guardian
angel.
开始的时候是他自己去，后来慢慢的也带队员去. 有一年红河之战出发前一天
还带着 adrian peterson 在医院呆了整半天，给小孩们带去签名的礼物。
还有一次，他上午全麻作了肩部手术，醒来第一件事就是让他老婆开车带他去儿童
医院，因为他记 |

TD。尽管这个机会很小，但毕竟是
增加。熟悉桥牌的人，很容易理解这个策略。
BTW，最后Oklahoma punted football，Missouri不应该接球已避免可能的失误，教练
应该提醒队员。
还有一个有趣的例子。当比赛还有3分钟时，A队落后14分，TD的6分，这时应该搞2分还
是一分。NFL和NCAA2分的成功
率大约都是43%，一分的成功率是94%。经过计算应该是搞两分，但绝大部分教练都是搞
一分。
看来Stoops的数学也不错。 |

虽然最后比分是blowout，
但是第三节开始OU气势上来了，FG成功接着TD成功后
15-20只落后5分，

估计球员很不理解
结果失败，气势失去

I don't have problems with Stoops being aggressive, I actually really love
it. The problem is: when Mike Stoops was here, we seemed to have a prepared
trick play--against bama, we faked punt in our own 20 yard line but they
knew it would be worth of trying since that the right side of bama player
were always very aggresive and not disiplined.

Based on my knowledge, you had a strong running game, great te, and a mobile
qb. Those three are normally Mike Stoops' weakest link.

不如有的联盟从上到下水平均衡。
我觉得比会议水平当然比头几名的那几个队，比第7，8名谁的强没啥意思吧。从数字上
说，我查了一下Sagarin的会议排名，从07年开始，SEC有两年不是第一，11年是B12,
10年是Pac10. 所以总体水平应该也是SEC第一。

差，现在Stoops继承的班底是从小招生帝Joker Philips那里加上自己深入FL后院硬招
来的，防守已经练成了，进攻还差点火候，假以时日，绝对是东区第一梯队的料。估计
Stoops憋得气下一场要拿Vandy大血洗了。
现在SEC东区的形势非常明朗
第一梯队：他狗和他鸡
第二梯队：Kentucky，Tenn，Mizzou
第三梯队（暂时看不到未来的）：鳄鱼和Vandy
再来说说我鳄，追死狗出手慢，没准头和口袋一破就乱扔这个问题看来是解决不了了，
我鳄如果今年想苟延残踹，就得放弃spread，主打running back corps，然后偶尔横穿
/短传WR就得了，虽然这样比赛比较难看，但是有五个堪用的RB（Taylor/Jones/Brown/
Powell/Lane），赢个七八场应该是没问题。 |

conversion的地步,就踢extra point先拿分。那个球，如果踢extra point，差8分，对
mizzou来说，就是one possession game的压力，完全就不一样了。而且即使后面OU第
一次进攻不成，还可以punt,稳扎稳打，毕竟就一个possession,把压力丢给mizzou,
mizzou只领先8分的话，也不敢放开play book打。
比赛中间，我一看stoops叫2-point conversion,我就说OU死定了。上周IOWA打wisc也
是一样，还剩10几秒，OL都排好了，不spike ball，而叫最后一个TO，也是值得商榷的
决定。 |

Since 2000, every December, we hear about either NFL or another NCAA team
was going to take Stoops. It seems that no matter how many bcs bowls he lost
, he is still very respected in his peers.
Hopefully, we can win a bcs bowl game this year and go back to win the nc

Yeah, the refs clearly had agenda but nd has two better lines than we do.
Our defense played similar to ksu game and never had any pressure on qb. I
think Mike Stoops is a great dc coach but he just could not handle a running
qb.
I think that I will be used to seeing a 2-4 losses every year and we will be
top5 to top20 most of the time. It is actually not too bad. |
