s**h 发帖数: 262 | 2 with a str8 and a flush draw, he had 12 outs on the flop, that's about even
money. To call 40+ bet for a $60 pot, a no-brainer
... |

s**h 发帖数: 262 | 3 not really, depends on whether it's on the flop or turn
简单的四二法则,on the flop,你的winning probability大约是number of outs乘以4,
on the turn, 则是number of outs乘以2,这样可以粗略计算获胜的概率
例如on the flop, 如果有flush draw and str8 draw, 15个outs,粗略算你有60%
chance of winning with two cards coming (精确的是54%), 知道是favorite to win
the hand 就可以了 |

p*****l 发帖数: 399 | 6 I still think it's a big mistake not to pushing all in on the flop. Your
reasoning basically based on your read that he hit a set. But how sure is
your read? Are you sure he could only raise the flop with a set? Not a made
straight, not bottom two pairs, not an overpair, or not a pair and a flush
draw, not a gutshut and flush draw, not open-ended str8 flush draw? What I mean is you can't be 100% sure about your read, why don't you push all in when you know you are way ahead(you were only behind |

p*******r 发帖数: 100 | 7 来自主题: _TexasHoldem版 - 这手牌 bluff raise is almost impossible since he called twice and he knew you were
almost pot committed.
One possibility is he called your flop bet with AK or AJ (gutshot str8 draw)
. That's loose but he got his draw if he had AJ..
A more likely possibility is he has a Q or KK or TT (but with Q or TT he may
have raised on the flop).
Sounds like the only hand you can beat is QJ or AK or KJ, where QJ is more likely. But none of these hands justified a raise on the turn..
I tend to fold. |

D*A 发帖数: 1169 | 8 so sick of jokerstar
Every single time my oppoent is drawing sth, they always get it!
I would say it is really like
Flush draw: mathmatical Pos: 40% jokerstar Pos: 65%
Open ended Str8 draw: mathmatical Pos: 34% jokerstar Pos: 55 %
and if you initialize an All-in, your winning Pos will double no matter what
youhold. |

y********n 发帖数: 2063 | 10 I guess your blinds-steal skill is not great. I have try several times in 5$
tournament(around 1000ppl), it is very easy to steal the blinds.
{
But high buy-in , it is very difficult.
I have seen one case in 163$ tournament.
utg raise 3BB
utg+1 re-reraise 9BB
middle position allin.
then utg raiser fold
utg+1 guy thinking thinking and thinking, and finally calls because of the
pot odds, and turn out 57 suited.
middle position guy has AA.
But utg+1 guy flop a str8.

slow paly to aim at your whole stack. |

y********n 发帖数: 2063 | 14 man, should be an easy fold.
The flop falls into his range. Your hand does not improve at all.
top pair is no good there. (if he does have jj or qq, he will fold to your
allin, otherwise, your hand is face up, easy call for him)
and if you call, 2 bets wait for you.
at least 2 pair,
set very likely.
str8 possible, but may play differently. |
|
D*A 发帖数: 1169 | 15 AK VS AQ preflop all in, it is not such bad at all,
What we complaint is KK vs KJ pre flop,
or gun -short str8 at river。。。which needs about three to four heads in a
row.

y********n 发帖数: 2063 | 16 Usually speaking, online players are stronger, because they play way too
many hands, and all kinds of situations. Busted one, open another.
And online players usually play 4 games, some players play 8-12 MTT at the
same time.
I guess good solid players should can make more money through online instead
of live.
The live play also have many bad beats. Wsop2008 final 2 table, 77 vs 1010,
flop 10, but 77 get a flush.
A3 vs 22, flop a 3 *, 22 wins in the end with a str8
77 vs aq, flop ace , 7, *, a |

y********n 发帖数: 2063 | 18 I guess the chance is very slim. Around 1%.
Just like flopping a str8 on the flop, another guy has over pair, need runer
runer to win.
Usually it is OK, but on FT, it is just brutal.

l*****r 发帖数: 2123 | 19 9-k is better
But it is impossible to form these two hands one time.
We can have str8 flush 2-6 and A-5 at the same time, then 6 high is better
than 5 high |
|
D*A 发帖数: 1169 | 20 有道理,这种two pair/top pair vs Flush、Str8 draw的牌,最好不要在flop all in
此时往往drawer觉得机会很大而孤注一掷,这下只有2:1
可以等到turn,如果outs没出,此时all in
几乎不会有风险。
