通过他们听说的 core strat 的工作也是偏向编写library的

might not know anything about derivative pricing. They are more doing very
computer-science like stuffs, like distributed computing optimization,
language parser, etc.
Desk strat is more focused on pricing and also the support for the their own
part of core system from end to end. They will even provide the GUI to the
end user using the tools developed by core strat.

最近被 recruiter 联系说他们的 Quant/Strat 在招人，投了简历以后那边通知说 IMD
private wealth, GSAM sales strat 以及 AIMS strat 的组有些兴趣准备安排店面。
不知道有没有对以上几个部门比较熟悉的出来说说是偏什么样的职位？ |

core strats do write libraries, but those are not pricing model libraries.
basically core wites SLANG (security language) which is a scripting language
used in GS. core writes the parser, the front end, the debugger. And Secdb
(security database). core only write codes that would be used by most of the
500+ strats.
sales strats rarely write fundamental pricing models. but for exotic
products, they do need to spend time coding cash flows, and combining
existing models to price a complicated s |

They ask me to take an 1-hour quiz, which is a comprehensive test of coding
and also other topics.
Just answer questions by typing in a document.
They do not provide more details and sample questions either.
How to prepare for that ?
Any advice are welcome.

去年同一时间也面了full time的，是个大普林数学phd vp。。
问的都是统计和stock
递归应该是个valid solution因为听到毛子说了句i believe yeah it works 但是太复
杂 你觉得还有什么别的办法 |

。这是其中一把。没有时间从头做，都是买的现成的neck和body安装的。风格非常朴素
非常naked。
这次重点是对Floyd Rose tremolo进行了一些改造。下面有一个拆开的before照片和一
个装好的after照片。目的是提高它的tone和sustain。具体就不说了。感兴趣的私下说
