My Guesses:
Black Walnut – Color and grain look right, and it’s a common hardwood,
so it’s a solid guess; weight is a bit high: is this board still drying?
Honduran Mahogany – Grain might be a little plain, but the pattern
looks right, and the weight feels close.
White Ash – The color and coarse grain looks like ash, though the
weight seems a bit too light: maybe the sample is from a very dry location?

stay with brand names. Glucometers are available in China, but not every
brand. The testing stripe has to match is the model of glucometer. So you
will have to make sure the stripe is available. They can be quite
expensive, but in my experience the same stripe is still cheaper in US
than in China. Lancet and alcohol wipes are relatively cheap. I bring

1. PNC merchant service，在和representative谈的时候，有一个PCI compliance

地点是Tracy附近的Clifton County Forebay。我们去了一个离开停车场5Mile的钓点（
靠近入水闸口）。
我们用的活饵是mudsucker,三根杆从早上七点到下午三点半上了4条鱼，还有几次咬钩
没有钩上。
第一条是16"左右的striped bass。不到limit放了。
第二条是一条貌似在30"以上的channel catfish。
第三条是稍小一些大概24"的channel catfish。
第四条是22"的striped bass。
Catfish看着挺大个，估计也不敢吃，就放了。striped bass当晚做了粉皮鱼头和清蒸
肚档，味道不错。 |

striped bass 都有好几条条纹延伸到尾巴上。
另外，hybrid striped bass上的条纹有数条是断开的。而WB是都是连着的。 |

昨天没看明白，今天放狗搜了下，好像没有。倒是看到关于stripe bass有culling的龟
腚。大概的意思是因为钓stripe bass的船都gaffing，然后碰到大的鱼，就把gaffing
的stripe给换了。这样虽然一条船的limit没超过，可是鱼还是死了很多。
花姑娘好像都挺顽强的，不太容易挂。也有可能是我一般都是穿下巴，穿腮的话就难保
了。
culling与否都是要保护鱼类资源。大家共勉。呵呵。 |

发帖数: 5728 | 18 鱼头是第一流的，目前在北美我个人喜欢吃的鱼，排第一位的是大的crappie，越大越
好，之后是black seabass和scup，然后是striped bass的鱼头。
striped bass的鱼肉，我个人觉得比鳕鱼等好吃，不过很多年没吃了，只能靠隐约的印
象，今年带条回来尝尝，去年送过一条给ld的师姐，她父亲下厨做的，据说做的非常好
吃。
还没钓到过bergal/cunner，不知道是否如传说中说的那么好吃。
不好吃的是bluefish，但俺ld做的bluefish熏鱼很好，大约有六年没吃过了，今年劝说
ld下厨做一条，据院长striper说，他的几个上海房客点名要bluefish，也是做熏鱼，
很好。
surf fishing中偶尔能钓到小的bluefish，大概有十几英寸，去年和老断钓到过，留了
两条，果然是传说中的肉质非常细嫩，简直不敢相信是bluefish童年时候，很柔滑也很
细腻，唯一可惜是鱼肉没有味道，需要不错的厨子，我这样的做不好。
一般我们surf fishing就这两种鱼，striped bass其实还不错，虽然比不了black sea

2007年在PI，跑了一条至少50磅以上的striped bass，drag锁死了，拉断了80磅的编织
线，几乎把我拉到激流中。从那以后，俺升级了所有的装备，全部都是top of the
line，到如今6个春秋过去了，还没遇到第二条这么大的，根据淡定哥的理论，一个非
常勤奋的surfcaster，平均每10年能遇到一条50磅+的striped bass，我还在努力期待
着，某天在某个不经意的海边，某次不经意的casting，有第二条这么大的striped
bass咬了我的bucktail。。。 |

butterfish我买过冷冻的，很不错，只是肉质比小bluefish嫩，我感觉不是，在
butterfish和小bluefish之间，我更喜欢butterfish，有点像小鲳鱼。
bass说的对，surf fishing里如果遇到striped bass和bluefish混在一起，大伙确实要
设法避开bluefish，基本会换bucktail，在没有striped bass的情况下，bluefish是相
当好的选择，我感觉避开bluefish的原因是它有牙，下颌非常有力，咬着不是闹着玩的
，很多surf fishing plugs上用的是三角钩，一旦上了bluefish以后，摘钩是个大麻烦。
bluefish的力量毋庸置疑，确实如jakk说的有力，fight起来相当有劲，我今年春季几
乎每个周末都去梦涛客，绝大多数拉的都是bluefish，因为没有striped bass，拉
bluefish也很有劲，需要装备的是fish grip，否则太难摘钩，即便我只用单钩的

发帖数: 5728 | 21 大嘴鲈鱼有点是，我觉得怎么钓怎么有，芝加哥我钓了几百条，那几年到后来在版上奔
的大嘴，都是干脆自己绑fly来钓，我起名叫做spin-fly，用spinning的轮子扔fly，钓
了不少大嘴，最好用的是wooly-bugger。
striped前年开始大规模流行疾病，非常严重的渔夫病毒，只要鱼粘上基本就完蛋，而
且带病毒时间很长，一般表现是鱼皮上一颗颗红色的黄豆到蚕豆大小的红点。
这对于东岸striped bass种群的影响巨大，据前年看的资料，最大的产卵基地，既马里
兰的沙湾内，带病毒的高大70%。
只有纽约这里和部分产卵基地没受影响，可是带病毒的鱼越来越多，我们去年钓过不少
带红点的，我手都不敢碰。
所以现在我是坚定要求威力c&r，反正他不会听，反正我都记着账，下次到w水库，他吃
多少条striped bass，我就带走几条小嘴，跟豪哥那样，不吃也扔桶里送人，哈哈。 |

after a while, those stripes expand). i just got a new pair of latin shoes,
1/2 size smaller than my previous one. at the beginning it felt very tight
and the stripes were squeezing my feet, but after a while, i got used to it
, and i had no prob wearing fishnets. also for tights in general, capezio
and another brand i forgot its name, they both sell tights for dancers, the
