On July 24, 2011, the Kane County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a
hiker was found deceased in Buckskin Gulch near the confluence with Wire

Productive, Live Better”。
其实我不同意作者的观点。较高的生活质量必须建立在生产效率提高的基础之上。加拿
大可以低效而享受较高的生活水准，得益于其稀少的人口、广阔的土地和丰富的资源。
如果中国像加拿大人办事这个效率，估计还停留在70年代的生活水平吧。
比文章更有意思的是下面的评论，有些非常精彩。例如下面这位，义愤填膺的批判了加
拿大相对封闭个寡头垄断的市场，例如在银行业、电信业、保险业、投资业，还有法律
、医疗和妇女地位等等。很多说的可谓鞭辟入里，我不得不赞同。
这也是我常常说很多人觉得加拿大跟美国很像，但其实这两个国家的区别之大远远超过
我们的想象。美国是充满机会适者生存的自由资本主义，而加拿大是个寡头垄断缺乏各
行各业都政策壁垒高企、惧怕竞争对外缺乏竞争力的经济。
如果把美国和加拿大比成两个公司，他们的区别就在于，如果有一份工作需要做，10个
人来面试，美国宁愿雇佣两个高效率的人很快把事情做了，让另外8个自求多福；加拿

global economy will likely keep the Bank of Canada from raising rates until
the second quarter of 2013, according to a Reuters survey.
The Reuters poll of 42 economists and strategists released on Wednesday

by three months from the first quarter of 2013 projected in a January poll.

hold a leadership convention.
Campbell made the announcement during a surprise news conference Wednesday
morning in Vancouver, accompanied by his wife and children.
Campbell's leadership of the provincial Liberal Party had been under attack
since his introduction of the Harmonized Sales Tax and there were rumours

Boras rejected it on Tuesday. That was why Phillies traded for
Eric Milton on Wednesday.
Millwood was looking for a 5 year deal around 70M.
It is just ridiculous. I mean, look, Curt Schilling is an Ace and
he has been consistently having great years. Kevin Millwood had been
a solid No. 3 pitcher in Braves and he stumbled badly last year as
