The economic problem in the region is not a problem of inadequate economic
development, but of uneven economic development. Some people got extremely
rich while most of others remained poor. That creates anger and source of
resentment.

0.5-1.0 mg/kg for adult human.
You absorb about 1mg of nicotine per cigarette. Assuming a person's body
mass is 75kg, he would have to smoke 75 cigarette in very short period of
time to reach 1mg/kg, 32 if you use the 0.5mg/kg limit. So unless someone
was performing a stunt by stuffing 2-3 packs of cigarettes into his mouth
and smoke it at the same time, smoking is NOT going to cause a lethal
overdose of nicotine.
