In certain areas, houses are built over expansive soil. When the moisture
content evaporates from the soil, ground cracks in the subarea widen. When
moisture re-enters the soil, the cracks either lessen or close. This can
sometimes create shifting of the piers and post or movement of the perimeter
foundation.

Section 2:
Finding: Water marks on the foundation and other subarea wood members
indicate that there have been standing water beneath this structure in
the past. The subarea soil is now wet.
Recommendation: Contact the appropriate tradesperson to check this condition
and make any correction necessary.

little confused:
In above thread several people mentioned "creek view", however, according to
the subarea plan http://www.sandiego.gov/planning/community/profiles/pacifichighlandsranch/plan.shtml),there is a still a large area marked "LD" north of Manzanita Trail; "LD" stands for "Low Density Residential", so I think that means there'll be more (and probably a lot more) houses north of Manzanita Trail in the future.

to the foundation forms when the concrete is first poured. many times when
the foundation cures the crack appears in line with the reinforcing steel (

，二是有白蚁。inspection的人说要花大概5000块钱来修。不知道这个房子值得买吗？
我对这个gufas没有多大概念，不知道算是严重问题，还是属于常见的小问题？多谢了。

家公司联系，他们说可以local treatment. 就是要我们做决定了。
不说fumigation花更多的钱和时间，周边1-foot的植物都要砍掉。有一些爬藤很不错，
实在可惜。
大家有什么经验么，如果做local treatment这次，搬进去后会有麻烦吗？房子24年新 |

发帖数: 573 | 26 意思就是有积水，这个subarea在哪里？ 不大明白到底是在说哪里，vapor barrier 可
以在多个地方出现，不知道这个说的是哪里，soil drain 原本就是把水要排走到，要
是水反倒从那里出来变成standing water,排不走，那说明drain 坏了，长此下去，对
地基不利。而且如果水多的话，会有可能渗过vapor barrier, 顺到墙上去，发霉就不
好了。。。。 |

刚才我在读keto diet的网页和书
电影电视书什么的用这些时间可以干（我以前经常半夜才从lab离开，换句话说
从6pm到midnight，我可以自由的在lab里看任何东西，因为基本上没有别人了
gym也在这些时间抽空进行

其实要省钱的话，最简单的就是把accord换成皮座的。
最好的皮座品牌也不过2000刀多一点就搞定了。
如果要换车的话，最符合你的要求的，同时最适合带狗的
我认为就是subaru的 outback了。
subarea本身是非常dog friendly的品牌
（你可以google dog test dog approved, 或者看 http://www.subaru.com/dogs/）
subaru不是豪华品牌，所以不贵。
outback 是wagon，低，同时，空间大，
最新的outback很省油，和你的老accord油耗比较接近，比那些大SUV好太多了，所以
commute 没有什么压力 |
