subzero主要是集成式的厨房电器，电器的风格颜色能够与厨房柜橱墙壁融合在一起，
空间利用比较紧凑。如果不是设计一体化厨房，倒不见得非要买。
我厨房有一个的subzero冷藏柜，内部空间很大（72in高）。前屋主留的，不知道用了
多少年，用到现在还跟新的一样，没有任何问题。subzero冰箱的另外一个优点是非常
省电。 |

在homedepot上订了一台samsung,送过来delivery一看老冰箱是subzero,就说subzero太
重有四五百磅，policy don't allow them to touch it. 只好退货了。

肯定是有品牌效应在里面了。但真的很耐用。我的其他厨房电器/厨柜都是Gaggenau的
，前屋主老两口用了30多年，看上去就跟一两年旧的一样，从设计样式到功能一点也没
有过时的感觉。我估计那个subzero应该也有至少20年的历史了。
如果是你打算在这个地方住很长时间，我建议买高端的牌子，一则用起来非常舒适，另
外也增加房子的价值。 |

subzero. Since they can not be made very deep, they are usually made wide to
allow the same amount of storage. Not sure what your existing setup looks
like, but if your current cabinets are designed for a subzero fridge, buy a
deeper version will not look good, if that is not enough space for you,
consider adding a few under counter fridge or freezer. If you find subzero a
little too expensive, consider using u-line brand, the |

temperature in some part of the fridge, it certainly can also extract heat
from subzero temperature air from outside. Of course the efficiency is lower

seals well in the middle by design, plus it take right amount of force to
shut it. (too light or too hard will not close it correctly, not kid
friendly)
But maybe the new subzero french door is very good, I just have not seen one
in person yet. But I have several other products by them, so far all
excellent.

subzero也不好看。不过质量是很好，而且很省电。 |

总之我看了很久，还是买不下subzero,因为实在是不喜欢．
我觉得伊莱克斯不错，后来我买的它的洗衣机，实在太喜欢了．要说48"宽的，完全是
另外一条线的牌子，还有Thermador,viking，Dacor，northland,什么的． |

subzero is supposed to consume very little power. many new models is below
100W.
my 24 yr old subzero (501R) has a label next to the door hinge, on the upper
side. It shows the model, manufacture date, operating voltage (115V) and
current (3.0 amp). If these are AC voltage and currents, then the average
power is supposed to be 115*3/2=172 Watt. |

it has two compressors. on average, a subzero fridge lasts for 20 years, in
colder places, over 20 years.
it also consumes little power, but can keep food fresh longer. when my
mother came to my place, she said my fridge keeps food at least twice as
long than her fridge at home.
but on top of all, subzero is for built-in kitchens as oppose to the common
free-standing fridges. it is meant to be integrated with the cabinet and the

you want a built in or integrated look, that is only option you have.
Since they are not very deep, so you need to make up the volume by width, I
suggest you get a fridge and freezer in 2 seperate units and put them side
by side. |

Viking and Dacor are also much much better product compare to LG.
You can usually find last years model on sale at almost the same price. |

subzero have complete seperate system for the fridge and freezer side, one
side could be working and other side not. Most cheap fridge have only one
system and use some plastic door to decide how much is distributed on each
side, make sure that is not stuck. |

French door is a door that has multiple windows ("lights") set into it for
the full length of the door.
For me, french door is only ok for wine storage, otherwise people can see
your "mess" inside the fridge, I don't like it.
Undercounter is the best kind I have used so far, easy to kids to get stuff
and can hold large items.

啦，floor sample卖3500-4000.
