偶准备从 chicago走80到denver,然后走70，换15到vegas,最后到SF
denver到vegas那一段有很多national park
现在准备去的有：arches, grand canyon, zion这3个
大家觉得路上还有什么地方很值得一看的吗？
从chicago到SF我想在5天里搞定，具体时间该怎么安排啊？

keke, driving for 2 whole days at least, pay attention to I-70 from Denver to
Grandjunction, it's beautiful.
Arches for 0.5-1day, for 0.5 day, see delicate arch and the longest arch.
for 1day, more hikes to see like double O arch.
grand canyon, at least 1 day, for south rim, drive through, hoho.
Zion, en, dunno,
suggest bryce canyon and monument valley!!! |

can live with AT only but kind of not willing to keep 2 pairs). Any
suggestion about how to nail one on internet without trying in local store(
only one store has AT gear but not much selections, only one that I know
with complete line is in Mt Shasta). I saw "Denali TT" shows up on Tramdock
often but it is AT only. How about "Garmont DAEMON"

They have much longer range than Tracker, 10 meter at least. It has 3
antennas, so more sensitive. In a situation of multiple burials, it also
shows on the screen that how many people are buried.
As cookiejar mentioned, there will be a 3-antenna BCA tracker coming out.
BTW, if you are really into back-country stuff, I would seriously suggest
you to buy a black diamond avalung too. |

I am totally new to backcountry skiing but very likely to commit to it
in the next few years. For me, climbing with less effort is important
but enjoy the skiing down is equally important if not more; I expect
some of the future trips will be purely enjoy skiing.
I rented a pair with Diamir FR last week. Although I didn't have much
chance really skiing on it, I was kind of happy with the touring part
and didn't feel they were heavy at all while amazed by |

weight and performance. he suggested me the mega ride and blackdiamond
method.
the method has a better heel design which secures the heel in a pocket while
i have a little heel lift with mega-ride. the method also has "Boa closure
system" which is easy to use when having the buckles on and skiing down.
the mega-ride is lighter and about $220 less expensive so i went for it.

3 months away. This will be my second year skiing. I was able to handle black
diamond at the end of last season. But I would still consider myself a medium
level skier. Still has a lot of room to improve.
So any suggestion would be highly appreciated on buying skis. Would Ebay be a
good source?

wilson and head rackets, but i use 4 1/4 for babolat rackets.
i suggest you get 4 1/4 grip size, string and tension is very subjective to
personal preference, you just have to try it out. |

ferry will enter Canada according to the Google map. Do I have to apply a
Canada visa? Is there a way I can go to San Juan Island from Port Angeles

They are renovating the hotel right now.
Also we plan to stay either 4 or 5 nights there. If we stay 5 nights, we
have 4 full days in Myrtle beach. Is that too much or just right for a
family with two kids (6 and 11)? Any activity suggestions?

and I need to buy separate tickets for either San Diego Zoo or Safari park.
