发帖数: 9 | 7 从了sunysb的mcb（分子和细胞生物学）的offer,近期才开始考虑将来的出路问题。在
丁香园和寄托天下上看到了很多悲观的论调，大家也都知道生物科学phd的含金量之低
，博士后待遇低实验累找工作难，我明白自己不是那种能献身科学的人，对实验室的工
作已经没有了激情和兴趣，实在不想让自己的黄金时代在瓶瓶罐罐中度过。读大学选择
生物就是一个错误，现在亡羊补牢不知是否为时已晚，对抱怨陈章良那句“下个世纪是
生物科学的世纪”没啥兴趣，只能归咎于自己的盲从或当年不切实际的理想了（自然科
学里生物的确是我的最爱，但现在对自然科学已经没啥兴趣了）。条条大路通罗马，学
生物的去卖药或当倒爷都有发财的，那就要看各人的机会和造化了。
看到各种出路，自己不是什么名校，consulting firm或faculty的路断了，家里没多少
钱，自费读医学院药学院要四年以上也没啥戏，诸如中学教师，法学院，BME，牙医之
类没考虑过。可选择的道路比较理想的是：
1）转到疾病，癌症，免疫，病理，药理方向坚持读完phd然后去公司做postdoc，不知
在激烈的竞争中这条路能否走通？
2）拿master走人去药厂或转专业 |

What I heard was 3-4 ys into his postdoc training, he never got around to
be on job market since the jobs were looking after him. He had great offer
from several places but chose SUNY stony brook with something like 2M or more package(not
exactly sure though)...
