看 repair manual, 零件装配图就不用多提了,
这是不可少的.另外, online 老外坛子里的帖子
是很好的补充, 毕竟 manual 不能面面俱到,
特别是 manual 里用的 special tool 咱都没有,
那些 home-made 的土工具就很重要了, 看看别人
挖的地道, 自己再挖就简单了.
由于要开 engine 盖子, 为避免脏东西掉进 engine
里, 先给它洗个澡是不错的: 开到洗车房, 打开
hood, 把 distributor, alternator 等一些电器
用塑料袋包扎好, 然后用 walmart 买的 supertech
家的 engine degreaser ( $1 一瓶, 便宜好用)
一顿乱喷, 当然油多的地方多喷些, 然后就开始
冲洗, 不要太近太猛. 完了开到太阳下让 engine
idle, 把水气烤干. 洗干净的 engine 好看多了.
提前把螺丝们都喷上 WD-40, PB-Blast 之类.
买好零件. 网上买自然是便宜点. 注意, 有些东西
最好买原厂的, 有些不太重要换起来又不麻烦的用

不是说M-1 0w-40也还是不错的嘛。性价比不高了。
机油滤，我用沃尔玛的supertech，性价比很高。

No one shows M1 filter is the same shit. That's why I still use it. The OEM
one is good, but just not that convenient and there is not discount. I tried
Purolator for some short time, not bad for the price. For my daily drive, I
just grab some cheap SuperTech/FRAM every 3k.
To me, it's kinda like gas from Chevron or Costco--both may work just fine.
But you don't change filter every week. |

前几天似乎有个autozone的mobil 1 clean 5000的deal，只要10块左右，你可以找找

Top: 02 SC2, 88k, Purolator PureOne PL10241
Bottom: 05 ION3, 66k, Purolator PureOne PL15436
Both with Pennzoil Full Synthetic 5W-30 bought in Walmart. Both had 3 month
and between 3k-4k miles since last change.
In the past oil turned black within 1 month (Pennz Full Syn & Fram or
Supertech). This result is actually a surprise to me.
Now my question is: Should I replace this oil and filter? |
