运行R。
恕我愚昧,我没有办法找到r-base这么一个file。在synaptic package manager 里面
明明是有的。好像在usr/share里面。但是根本找不到。请问这个东西在哪里?(我运
行R挺好的,没有问题。)
另外还有一个小问题。我给eclipse做了一个launcher。一切顺利。但是ubuntu给这个
launcher的icon很不爽。打算换成eclipse 3.4的菱形的icon。可是找到的都是eclipse
3.2这样的圆形的icon。不太甘心。请问eclipse 3.4这样的菱形的icon应该是一个单
独的image吧?然后eclipse 吧这个Image和executable file连在一起。我也打算这样
。可是居然找不到这个菱形的image!请教一下怎么个搞法?多谢。 |

in mice. so if one wants to study fish, he should definitely go for the
synaptogenesis in CNS.
Retino-tectal projection is a good system to study axon guidance. so is it for
the study of synaptic plasticity too. If i am gonna do that, probably I will
avoid those hot spots. In fact, our lab is gonna study the reticulo-spinal
curcuits in zebrafish. So I guess the synapsis formation in spinal cord may be
worth studying. |

Synaptic Transmission is far from being figured out. So there is still a lot
to do there and it is certainly the forefront. There is also a lot to do about
how certain channels are expressed in certain cells. How do the neuron know
how to choose a certian combination of channels to express, how are channels
targeted. Also a lot to do about how channels are modified during plasticity.

are: does 1% SDS interupt protein interaction? if does, what should I use to

剩下的像PCP好像主要component也发现的差不多了
像wnt在传统发育学 在果蝇 线虫 斑马鱼 fogg的role基本都比较清楚了
但是关键是“老药新用”比如当时Zou yimin做出来在axon guidance中的作用
或者在synaptic genesis的作用
或者除了体轴发育这种粗调作用外 在local environment中niche的微调作用
我觉得还是很有搞头

我就是查文献的时候看到有的实验室已经在做PTEN在autism里面的功能,
觉得挺纳闷的。
就像你说的那样,大部分功能特别重要的基因(那些很多都是oncogene),
在neuron 里面都肯定有功能的。
比方说我要是发个神经在纹状区把tubulin KO了,几乎也肯定能够产生
autism 症状吧?可是这么做有意义么?
SHANK3, 和Neuroligin 的意义在于他们是非常组织特异性的蛋白,
在基因上搞乱这两个蛋白后产生的形状主要集中在神经和行为上,
这个和autism 病人的特点一致。因为autism 病人主要是行为异常,
其他发育大致都还正常。
而PTEN这种蛋白,在自然情况下不管是以什么方式被搞乱(比方说基因
突变,或者mis-regulation),其表型不太可能集中在脑部,所以不太可能是
autism 的致病原因。
在这个意义上来说,我觉得对SHANK3, Neurologin等几个post-synaptic
scaffold protein 的调控,才是最有可能的autism 的致病原因。 |

striatum instead of cortex. They tried to make a story that cortico-striatal
synapses were sick and other regions were spared (they examined synaptic
plasticity in hippocampus and found it is alright, if I remember correctly).
If so, they should at least rescue the striatum region with virus-delivered
shank3. Without the rescue experiment, no causality is established and the

有快20篇了。其中有cell, neuron, Journal of neuroscience, PNAS 好多篇。而且他
1995年就回国了,那个时候国内的环境有多差不用说了吧。这也快20年了。比饶益2007
年才全职回去多了12年。比起培养的中国学生也多多了,算国内贡献肯定不会小。如果
他一直留在国外,成就未必就比饶差。谁把饶益的文章列一列。国内多少篇,总共多少

……”],还有王佐仁老师是所长助理,我们最近又来了几个新的师长,最新的是昨天
到的张翼凤老师,Harvard博士后,UCSD的PhD,有些同学听过她的报告,有些同学没有
听过,可以给她安排一场,晚上的seminar.

People are using split GFP (called GRASP) to reconstruct pre/post synaptic
split GFP and get good signal. The distance of synapse is around 20-40nm.
The extracellular part of XFG isnt big. I am wondering 10nm is good for split gfp/BiFC?
