Don't get me wrong. I didn't conclude any relationship between US dollar as
a researve currency and the US government bonds. For now, the answer is yes,
as long as US keep the huge trade deficit, China, Japan and Saudi have to
keep US dollars. But as I said, if the US dollar is no longer the reserve
currency, Americans will have to use Japanese yen to buy Japanese goods, use
RMB to buy Chinese goods, and probably use Euros to buy oil.

such as PET from coal by gasification. Actually the coal gasification plant
of Eastman at Kingsport TN is the first Texaco coal gasification technology
(now GE) in U.S.
合成气 (syngas, H2+CO) can be used to manufacture products such as H2, NH3,
power generation (IGCC), DRI, gasoline, diesel, et al. However, these
processes starting from coal is profitable or not depending on many factors. |

发帖数: 517 | 12 那哥们对技术是非常的不懂。他们原来搞的那个叫什么valeno，是个很烂屁的小石油公
司。跟中石化的技术水平差不是10年，20年的。
石油炼制一向是受碳氢比和热平衡限制的。简单说，汽油里面含的氢%大于原油的%。好
比说本来出燃料油的比例是70%。那么有足够的氢气，就可以出90%。但是，加氢同时是
个吸热过程。所以还要有额外的热量输入。
那么，中石化作为环球石油炼制水平第一的公司，有他们几十年练就的全世界范围内的
独门兵器，就是渣油催化裂化。所以说对中石化，要是搞燃料油型的炼油厂就很简单，
直接一个常压塔，塔底出来的直接送催化裂化。
但是那种小公司没那么大的本事。你看他那家公司还在搞石油焦什么的。这个宝贝东西
叫延迟焦化炉。国内也就几家特别老的炼油厂有。要参观都很困难的东西。类似说CRT
monitor。
那么他们就从石油焦开始，然后用磨煤机磨碎。然后送进一个类似流化床的东西，跟水
蒸汽什么的混合去生产syngas。这个工艺本身是70年代就非常成熟的东西。里面所谓的
工艺计算，就是现在叫工艺包了，那本煤化工出的，华东理工出版的化学反应都写的很
清楚。

找个基因突变了（或者就像袁隆平那样筛选优良品种--如果担心genetic
contamination的话），然后导致feedstock的bio-ethanol, bio-diesel
syngas, etc的产量大增。
虽然这块受政府扶持(subsidize等)很严重，不过现在中国不是提倡绿色，低
碳，减排吗。加上BP漏油的事件，估计这块会热。然后农民伯伯就有生意
了：）
