Sylvan 应该跟俄国人没什么关系吧？Sylvan 的 tagline 是 Homework support，好像
是说如果孩子回家作业很难，父母可以把孩子送过去，他们帮助做作业。听起来好像是
这目的，但每个家长的目的可能不同吧？Sylvan 与 Kumon 最大的不同是他们是一对二

的通道, 大家都和我一样, 轻易走过右边. 但此老队员在装GOPRO, 都不看前边的路,
新队员很卖力地划左边, 从录像看, 他看到树, 也没跟老队员提一句,想提前行动, 但
划船重心不对, 在树前几米翻了(最坏的CASE), 翻之后被树刮住, 接着处理也没经验,
活活浪费宝贵的30秒, 被水死死PIN住(我想换个不会游泳的女生也不会这么给PIN住),
有我见过的最坏的反应之一.
老队员也在水下, 翻的位置要好一些, 加上反应迅速, 立马化险为夷.
在我们使用最后一招之前, RANGER赶到, 用了我们从来没有练习过的TAGLINE, 加上500
-800磅的力, 把新队员拉回岸上.整个过程是15分钟. |

来看头几钟他能转身能动(他把自己转到能呼吸比较通畅的位置就停住拉, 其实人往树
上一拉, 危机就在几秒种内消失, 还有他为了能稳定自己可能有意让脚下树枝卡住,求
得平衡, 如果脚一缩, 也马上打断PIN的机制)
如果RANGER不来, 我已在想最后一招是从树下钻过, 树很小, 就拳头粗, 我检查了水下
通道, 还算比较CLEAN, 而且一旦打破平衡, PIN解除但新的PIN有可能出来.但RANGER马
上到了之后, 我放弃了此举. 有同学一味阻止考虑这种思路, 其实有可能延误战机. 因
为一旦从树下过, 他一定要反应灵敏, 避免新的PIN, 拖的时间越长, 他反应越慢后面
的越不WORK.
在俩年前类似但后果不严重的事故中,WEIJIA从更恐怖的树下钻过, 没什么事. 我可想
象这次机会多得多, 就是是小RAPID和小树.
最重要的概念在这里是避免PIN机制的形成和破坏PIN机制. 在如此简单的STRAINER下有
老会员带状况下翻船,就象爬山有人要跳悬崖,你咋救?

天风吹日晒雨淋，估计都成一具白骨了。何况当时人性、理性（Pi）已经降伏了兽性、
冲动（老虎），再吃人在情节和主旨上都不太说的过去了。
相反，Pi当时处在濒死的边缘。而那一座浮岛象征着乐园，浮岛上充满了诱惑（不尽的
食物和淡水），但同时也象征着死亡（酸、牙舍利、死鱼、猫鼬抱着鱼骨）。Pi如果留
在那个岛上，也就意味着他皈依了宗教，接受了死亡，放弃了抵抗。Pi也曾迷恋，比如
把手链系在了树上，但最后他的理性还是战胜了情感，抱着信念活了过来——过了浮岛
的情节，他马上就得救了。这呼应了他父亲之前说的关于religion和reasoning的一段
话，也呼应了电影的tagline: a story of hope。
岛上的很多事物，比如睡佛的形状、莲花、牙舍利和印度教都有很深的联系。浮岛用在
