尖阁列岛开拓纪念日
2010年12月，冲绳石垣市（日本法律将此列岛归属于该市管辖）通过议案宣布将1月14
日定为“尖阁列岛开拓纪念日”，以纪念116年前日本内阁将此列岛划为日本领土的日
子。中国立即表示了抗议。
石垣市的举动可援引自2005年岛根县议会通过“竹岛日”，以纪念日本兼并竹岛100周
年的日子。该岛目前置于韩国的实际控制和管理之下，韩国方面称之为独岛。岛根县的
举动招来了韩国方面的强烈抗议。此次来自中国的抗议不会比韩国温和。为什么这些贫
瘠的、只有濒于灭绝的短尾信天翁栖息的、无人居住的礁石会对这些国家有如此重要性
？这些岛屿到底属于哪个国家？怎样才能解决领土争议？
事件经过
2010年9月7日早上，在此列岛附近海面捕鱼的中国闽进渔5179号渔船两次和日本海岸警
卫队船发生碰撞，日本称之为尖阁列岛，中国和台湾称之为钓鱼岛或钓鱼台（注1）。
