from UChicago Financial Mathematics program. Before that, I was a Computer
Science Ph.D candidate from a top 10 school. Also I have both CFA and FRM
designation. I want to find a job in quantitative analysis area. Roy Talman
first asked me for an onsite interview with them. They were trying to direct

4:15 a.m. CDT, May 9, 2013
A 47-year-old man was shot dead on Green Street on the Far South Side and
nine others were wounded across the city Wednesday night.
The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was killed about 8:30 p.m
., apparently while he rode his bicycle.
His family mourned quietly at the scene, in the 10200 block of South Green
Street in the Washington Heights neighborhood.

面问问情况，结果被告知不在电话里面谈，必须要人去，不知道葫芦里面买的什么药啊
。本人背景很普通，投了一堆职位也没什么回应。 不知道有没有朋友原来和这个公司
接触过，他是真的给介绍面试呢还是就让我过去瞎扯扯啊？

这个猎头是我这次找工作见的联系的第一个猎头。本来我看他们需要面谈， 感觉他们比较认真细心，
想着这次找Chicago的工作就跟定他们了，不联系太多的猎头。
可等我花了时间专门跑到Chicago downtown见了他们之后，先是冷嘲热讽的给我了一堆打击: 把
当今的opening说的神乎其神，说我不懂的太多，说我C++不行，说我以前学的东西顶p用，说我的
工作经验顶p用。本人一个还算很不错的学校毕业的。他们说你这个学校OK(请注意在这种场合下用
英语说OK的意思)但是不如UChicago, 我们Chicago的只认UChicago. 昏倒啊，UChicago是名
校但是也不至于这么压倒性的强过我以前的学校吧。
后来说他们还是有opening的，跟我一起看了几个，然后答应给我联系。最终结果任何回
音都没有。他们说的这些firm, 其中有几个我后来自己或者通过别的猎头都拿到了面试。
在后来的几个月中，每过一段时间我就收到他们一封电子邮件。每次都是同样的内容，你好，近况
如何？很抱歉，虽然一直在找，但是至今没找到合适你的工作。 |

课程里面的东西学的还不错，学校也一般，估计明天他们又要拿这个说事了， 不管怎
么样，还是打算明天去会会他们，毕竟现在也没有什么能努的上力的地方。还是多谢你
的信息阿，多少让我心里有个准备。看到你原来的帖子，祝贺你找到新的工作啊。
