191接20要过Targhee Forest，下雪的时候冬天经常封路，10年雪大的时候最长一周都
封过。铲雪车比较少，现在政府穷，都要等雪停了再铲。287在valley里面，冬天比191
好开，但遇到大风天气也好不到哪去。不过怎么也得汇总到20号路上，20号过Targhee
Forest是经常封的地方。总之一旦你们计划的那周遇到封路，计划就泡汤了。想跨3个
雪场的计划还是要三思。
三月Jackson Hole雪况山下开始变差了，毕竟面阳，雪化得快，到第二天早上又冻住
了。Grand Targhee雪会非常好，它和Jackson Hole刚好相对于Grand Teton对称。

我强烈不建议去Big Sky后，再前往Grand Targhee和Jackson Hole。
怎么都得经过West Yellowstone。那条路冬天经常被封。另外Yellowstone气温极其低
，-50F是常事，想去玩雪地摩托的别赶在最冷的时候12-3月去。小心冻成冰棍回来。
另外，从Grand Targhee去Jackson Hole的路，近的路走23号 要过Teton Pass，非常不
好开，主要是盘山公路。从没开过的话，All Whell Drive + Snow Tire是必须。
我冬天去Jackson Hole从来不走Teton Pass，宁愿多开半个多小时绕道去——安全。
我的建议是：要么去Big Sky及周边雪场；要么去Jackson Hole + Targhee。不要三者
连起来，冬天封路时间很多，而且很难开。

JH 很陡，不适合中级以下水平的人。Grand Targhee 各种难度分布很好，而且No Lift
Line ever. |

从big sky出来，去Grand Targhee有两条路，一条是沿着191，然后接20。另一条是先
北行，然后绕到西面的287。这两条路都很经常被封？287会不会好一些？

发帖数: 170 | 9 看当时的路况，这个不好说。租AWD的SUV是必须，早点走，越往山里越不好开。
I15情况相对较好，铲雪比较勤快。到Idaho Falls后转26号路也比较好开。别跟GPS上
22号路，会遇上盘山公路，路况变幻莫测不说，车速也很慢。一直沿着26号路到Alpine
Juction再北上去Jackson。
另外一个建议：更安全的方法就是坐Salt Lake Express的大巴，直接SLC到Jackson。
12pm发车，晚上6pm到，住在Jackson。那里有Ski Bus到Jackson Hole和Grand Targhee
。省得开车太累还不一定安全。

按照你的经验，就算是封路的话，一般需要多久重开？百年不遇的大风雪不算。
网上也看到颇有一些行程包含这三个resort的。

下了一寸新雪，找到一条下面没有冰疙瘩的，虽然丑陋，但滑的非常尽兴。明天试试另
一做山头。

哪些地方重点推荐的呢？
还有从南边出，经过grand teton好，还是从西边出，经过targhee national forest好
？－－我冬天时去过teton好几次，所以想如果targhee漂亮，这次就去targhee了。
重点的纠结点是：cabin or camping?
我们一行要飞到盐湖城，然后开到黄石。所以大件的camping gear就不太方便带，带了
也必须托运，而且同行的mm居多，除了我之外没有人有露营经验和装备（好在我有多余
的可以分），这个让我有点踌躇。烧烤的东西也需要在公园里面每天现买，似乎有点麻
烦。－－大虾们有类似经验的吗？

for Big Sky. Though all resort may be good next weekend, probably only
Targhee and possibly Jackson Hole can be in the same condition in US then. I
bet it would be an excellent trip for skiers/riders who don't care
nightlife.

Targhee. BTW, you can try guided snowmobile in Yellowstone or Grand Teton, taking off
from Jackson. That's gonna be extremely fun, but you need to reserve.

如果非要跨三个雪场，建议以Jackson, WY为Base。这样即使封路也可以玩2个雪场。
Jackson Downtown还有个小雪场Snow King，很陡，晚上没事也可以耍耍。你要是真考
虑Big Sky，我唯一的建议就是租辆AWD的SUV，而且提前查511路况（都有摄像头的），
封路宁愿取消计划。这边车路上抛锚了，打911估计都得半小时才能到。
什么时候封路，封多久太难讲了，一般天气预报也就提前个三天。你要是赶上上个雪季
，那根本不用担心封路时间长的问题，去年是这边30年一遇的少雪天（全美国也这样）
，不到一天就通了。 |
