这次去了一个法国餐厅，上次吃意大利菜贴了个link把人的网站搞倒了。。。
这次就不贴link了。。。和LD两个人去的，最后with tip $220 .
这个餐厅居然还有dress code，必须穿jacket（西服）才让进
前菜：鹅肝酱，鸭肝酱（这个新鲜），truffle mousse. duck terrine
好像还免费送了一人一个鸭肉卷
主菜：一个rack of lamb，一个rabbit ...
dessert: apple tart with vanilla ice
要了一杯pinot noir，一杯咖啡
都很不错，特别好吃的是duck terrine，还有rabbit，实际上是兔肉卷夹心鹅肝酱，
truffle sauce调制。。。。 yummy yummy ...

刚纪念完肖邦诞辰200年。今天就到了丫死的日子了。悲摧啊，不注意锻炼，从小得了
肺结核。那个年代文艺人得肺结核死得太多了。我现在天天出门诊都能看到肺结核的病
人，不知道啥时候会得上
接着肖邦得肺结核这事儿说。话说浪漫主义时期的音乐家里。没有比门德尔松更幸福的

只有这两个国家的菜才能千变万化，任意搭配，翻陈出新，也就是在饮食方面有浓厚的
文化内涵在里面。
而考察德州和休斯顿的历史，早在17世纪这里就是法属殖民地，虽然期间有过西班牙殖
民统治阶段，也有墨西哥统治阶段，但是伴随美国独立战争等各个历史事件，还是源源
不断从法国批量移民过来大量法国人，一直到今天。甚至在休斯顿Downtown还有一个不
小的法国城(Frenchtown)。这里世世代代定居的法国人带来正宗的法国美食。我们今天
造访的位于Frenchtown不远的，在Louisiana街上的法餐厅Artisans就是这样一家非常
有历史，地道的法餐厅。当然今天的法国城(Frenchtown)主要是历史遗迹了，如果要找
法国馆子那里基本是没有了。出名的几家法国餐馆都已经不在那里了。这个点类似
Downtown的那个没落的中国城。
刚一走进Artisans我们就看到这家餐厅的标识图形，一只高卢公鸡。在这里可以再简单
介绍一下，如果一家法餐厅或者其他法国公司敢用高卢公鸡做他们的标识物，说明一个

其实Reston Town Center旁边（Best Buy，Barns N Nobels那个plaza)还有两家不错的。
16. La Madeleine：很正宗的法式点心，早上有早餐，中午晚上也有entry，这家是直
接点了然后付钱那种，不算sit down吃的饭店，所以不一定要给小费。早餐相当推荐，
鸡蛋+toast+meat那个做得很精致，还加两块小煎一下的西红柿解腻。bakery这边我最
喜欢的是almond croissant和蝴蝶酥，蛋糕和tart都好吃就是太甜。中午推荐吃那个
salad combo，任选三种，我一般是选tuna salad，pasta salad，和strawberry
romanoff，最后这个的浇在草莓上的酱汁我认为是镇店之宝，保管你吃了下回一定会再
点，我已经上瘾了。一个人在10-15左右。georgetown也有一家，总是很多人，不如reston这家隐蔽。
17. Macaroni Grill ：这是我最爱之一的Maggiano's的下线店，Reston这家环境相当

发帖数: 5184 | 17 讲DC了，我是每天三点一线的人，家，firm，学校，所以DC的我去的多的都在firm和学
校之间。
1. Acadiana：9和New York交界处，DC Top 10的饭店，主要是海鲜，环境好，里面吃
饭的对半西装革履，呵呵，不是政府的就是law firm的。这是我请秘书吃饭的专门店，
她喜欢里面的菜。它的caramari里放多色椒和salad，所以油而不腻，很有心思，它的
seafood salad，里面有蟹肉，虾，辣虾，鱼肉等五种海鲜，超值，它的crab cake很推
荐，烤的恰到好处，甜点有名的是它的几种Tart，还有sorbet，我吃过它的sampler，
青苹果的，root beer和pinapple的sorbet都很好吃。
2. DC coast：14和K的交界处，又是海鲜店，总是很popular的，一定要预定那种，

发帖数: 904 | 33 没骑多久就去Little Italy的Fiilippi Pizza大吃大喝去了。。。第二天早上起来，本来想再去Little Italy去吃早点， 可是实在是起的太晚了就直接骑去Gaslamp District了，从4街， 5街到6街以及Harbor Drive来回兜了几圈， 碰上了每一个红绿的以后。。。还摔了一胶， 水壶顺溜掉到下水道里了。 爬起来继续接着骑去BalBoa Park， 爬了一个小小的但是murderous的坡， 来到了我的favorite lily pond。 weekday游玩就是好没什么traffic， 可以单手骑车， 另外一只手可以咔嚓咔嚓好多照片。Balboa的pp都是在车上拍的， 无所谓对焦或composition一说， 哈哈。 没骑上好几mile就想reward一下自个， 去了Balboa Park旁边的extraordinary dessert点了个Diamondhead Chocolate Tarte （delicious啊！！！）。(cont. on post 7) |

我也打算做做运动了，今天咨询了医生，说我可以通过游泳来锻炼肌肉。但是运动量不
可以太大。听了真高兴啊。

午饭：1个草莓tart （早餐吃得太晚，结果午餐就没有吃什么）
