not apply here) is that the older the lobster, the more chances it has to
accumulat heavy metal or other contaminations from its food source.

车，也不会讲太多的英文，所以也就是在基地里面溜达一下，逛逛商场，吃吃快餐，顺
便在码头上的麦当劳找了一份兼职的工作，体验了一下真实的美国底层社会。记得自己
刚到美国的时候，每天在伯克利的麦当劳吃1刀的big & tasty，然后捡其他老中看完的
中文报纸，专挑其中的招聘栏目看，希望能找到工作，可惜大多数貌似适合自己的岗位
，都已经被细心的老中用圆珠笔划过圈圈了，那时的心情是无比绝望，甚至觉得连麦当
劳的工作，对自己来说，都是无法企及的。兼职期间，见识了一个亚裔神人，每天只睡
四个小时，其他时间不是在麦当劳，就是在沃尔玛从事最底薪的工作，因为工作时间长
，居然也能赚4000多刀，让我仰慕不已。不过，坚持了几天之后，我就觉得太憋屈了，
凭啥每天都要伺候和自己一样的大头兵吃快餐呢，感情上实在说不过去，所以就辞职不

restaurants in the city。没有找到推荐的spinach-and-cheese ravioli，也没有试
所谓“outstanding”的gnocchi，很后悔。因为waiter强烈推荐给我的fresh pasta和
朋友的某种绿色Pasta(他是Vegetarian，所以碗里基本只有pasta和cheese)都不是很
impressive(因为期望值太高？)。也可能是我吃不习惯那种cheese把，或者是之前吃过
的意大利菜都不够纯正？这次的是太厚重了些，吃了一半就不行了。不过pasta里面浇
的汁还是很tasty（某种绿色豆子慢炖出来）,而且名副其实，很新鲜口感不错。上菜前
还点了一个小Pizza当appetizer，倒是很不错。有谁吃过它家别的菜或者有别的见解可

The problem is the location and customer group.
Nearby Subway and Vivi's attract lots of lunch traffic from Bubb road
offices (inc. some Apple buildings) and Monta Vista high students, so they
do pretty good as far as I can tell.
There aren't many customers for full service restaurant in that location,
unless it's really special and tasty. |

BF当天8点半出门，去kohl's 给barbie买了新装，borders买了过家家的tasty science
，其它一概看不上，无意中又碰上了comcast，当场搞定了39.99的prefered + HBO +
HD + DVR，满意而归。回家来看看网上也没啥，随便点了三个OO竟然中了两个，于是胡
乱买了个最便宜的vostro 1014，Home depot 虽然不想买gift card, 但是其它也没有
可买，
今天更好，晚饭用restaurant.com certificate, 用AMEX付款，最后自己也就出了10来
块，然后到另一家著名西点用领导的AMEX买了一堆很不健康的东东。
