(06-10) 16:47 PDT Sacramento --
Counties, school districts and community colleges would have broad authority
to seek taxes on income and products like cigarettes and alcohol under a
bill approved by the California Senate this afternoon.
The bill gives local entities power over taxes that currently only the state
Legislature can impose. The Senate passed the bill after Republicans, and a

In separate decisions Wednesday, the Montgomery County Council indicated its

The tax hike the council appears to favor is a 4.2 cent increase per $100 of

Most property tax bills in the county will go up less than 1 percent.

1. 你的AGI(line 38 at 1040)必须小于110,000 -- married filing jointly
而additional child tax credit defined at P61 就是说只要你有qualified
dependent child, 即使没有tax liability (do not owe any tax),也可以拿.

New Jersey Gross Income Tax
Full-year residents who are single or married filing separate return must

Full-year residents who are married and filing a joint return, head of
household or qualifying widow or widower must file a NJ tax return if their

No, this doesn't make much sense.
Federal tax and state tax are separate. They are both calculated based on
your total income. You pay federal tax on your income plus also state tax on
your income.
So suppose you make $50000. For federal tax you have $11900 standard
deduction and $7600 exemption, so you are left with $50000 - $11900 - $7600
= $30500 taxable income. And then you calculate the tax on that based on the
federal tax brackets. In this case the federal tax is $3709.

里面提供了一些deduction(大概十来种)

对方的回答是“we have
nothing to do with federal tax. You cannot deduct the federal tax from your
gross income for state tax”LG又问他们是不是即使这部分钱交了federal tax 在州
