简单介绍一下背景：
PHD退学拿MS走人，后来当了technician。钱太少了，3万左右，而且老板很恶心非常挑
剔，所以干了快一年就回家生孩子了。其实我不是特别讨厌当tech，就是觉得要遇上一
个好老板太难了。想到10年后我还拿着3，4万就觉得可悲。
我想读护士完全是看在投入不大回报相对来说可以，而且价值比tech升得快的情况下才
决定的，周围有社区大学2年ADN program,也有BSN 1年加速班，今年申请读完最早都得
2013年了，那个时侯也不知道行情怎样。看板上大学都说有卡也不好找了，搞得我有点
犹豫。。。
我这个人体力劳动是不怕的，就怕考试，而且每次考试都认真复习却总考不好，加速班
咬咬牙可能也能拿B毕业。
LG和家人的态度是中立的，要读就支持，也读也行。所以基本帮不了我。
大家觉得我还要再读吗？还是继续找个tech干一辈子？

overqualified for a technician position. I agree that many engineers are
doing technician's work. But usually job requirement for technician will not
has BS degree. For example, I dont think a technician title can get H1-B. i
also agree some MS may not be do technicians job as well as an experienced
technician. But USCIS people will not buy it. |

偷，我几乎跟贼擦肩而过，然后我马上意识到了，但还是没有抓住。马上报警，同时用
iphone登录find my iphone，按下了play sound。20分钟之后我电脑居然出现在了五迈
之外的一个星巴克，旁边有家apple store。911让我先去，到了确认了是贼之后再打
911。我马上和朋友驱车前往，20分钟到了那，问苹果店，他们说刚才确实有个黑人拿
来一台macbook pro要求erase all the data，拿来的时候电脑还在beeping，就是find
my iphone的滴滴声。但是Apple Store technician居然在这样的情况下很快的时间就
把电脑给erase掉了！我直接惊呆了。电脑需要密码才能登陆，屏幕上也有我的名字，
Apple ID和password贼也不知道，最重要电脑当时在报警啊！Technician居然就帮贼把
数据擦掉然后让贼走了！连贼ID都没查名字都没有问！那家苹果店(oakridge)在mall里

望有自己的实验室。基本工资差不多。领导在两地都可以找到工作。本人女， 计划接
下来工作和生孩子两头抓。
A．Mideast寒冷小镇。有实验室和相关技术人员 （系里有一位Electronic Engineer负
责维修仪器, 实验室和系里的其他仪器共享一位technician，实验室已经在运转了）。这是吸引我的最最主要原因。系主任说该technician在我的前
两年主要为我工作。系里可能的合作比较有意思。尽管系里的仪器都是共享， 其他人
的研究可以用到我的仪器， 但我将是唯一懂得， 和能解释相关数据的人。 但是州里
经济差， 教学楼和办公用具很陈旧。 当初面世感觉回到了九十年代的中国。工作环境

The Automotive Technician program, offered at ECC, is a 920-hour training
program that meets Monday through Thursday AM and Monday through Wednesday
PM. This program provides skills required for employment as an entry level
automotive technician. It is required that all students possess a valid
Driver's License.

考题。
就想轻轻松松简简单单做个technician，听人发号施令，早八晚五，下班就不再用思考
任何事情。
我打过交道的technician不多，所以想来了解一下大家对technician的expectation都

我们厨房有煤气味，请了煤气公司检查，他们说管道连接都没有问题，可能是炉灶的问
题，让我们找appliance repair来修理。我老公不放心我一个人在家修炉灶，让我约他
在家的时候来修理。之后我打了好几个大公司的电话，报价都是是＄89或＄99上门的
diagnostic fee，不包括换部件和labor的钱。但是因为时间都不合适，最后我在
google找了一家离我家比较近的公司A，让他们派人来修。这家公司的报价是＄55上门
。我在网上没有找到review，也没有找到他们的网站，不过因为他们的报价低，而且当
时着急修炉灶，就用了公司A（我的第一个错），约了周五他们派technician过来维修
。他们说tech会在上午8点到11点之间过来，并要走了我的信用卡信息要做hold，其他
大公司都没有要过，我没有多想也就给了（我的第二个错）。
1．tech迟到，态度很差。
周五上午10点左右，没有任何人出现，因为下午有事，我给公司打电话，等了一会，

从前跟他们打交道经历过各种极品的事
今天领教到极致了
上星期接到他们一个电话，说让我每月多交10块钱，给我这个package,
给我那个package的。我反复问是不是真的，有没有各种多出来的设备费安装费。
一律说没有。
我就sb一样的信了，约了今天人家上门来装
上门全都装好，technician好心打电话去问一下总价，比我从前的月费加了40！
我说老子不加了你帮我改回原先的去吧
他们说这个technician做不了主，要自己打电话给客服部门取消。
客服电话等了40分钟接通
那头听了我的遭遇，表示同情，说很抱歉，加10块钱的生意我们做不了
那个是tele marketing部门的offer, 他们的offer我们不能honor...
我三条黑线，只能说，行，那就取消升级吧
她说，行，可是你原来用的那个package也是一个promotion,
那个promotion我们现在没有了。。。
另外，要我把今天technician带来的设备送到一个很远的地方去，
说上门取得话30块（technician之前跟我说是免费取）
