本人在LA，急需加拿大签证去那儿工作面试，本来可以去LA的加拿大领馆提交
temporary visit的签证申请。结果LA加拿大领馆的网页实在做得很迷惑人，在点击了
准备下载申请表格的那个link后被带到了这个网页http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/visa.asp,网页的最上方讲居然还可以online提交申请而且说很快。 因为心里想快些拿到签证，就阴差阳错用了这个online的方法，过程是顺利，一切都是扫描document上传包括passport都是。结果提交了以后才发现这个online方法实际上应该是提供给已经在canada境内的人申请visa用的，所以处理时间是暴长，网页上说... 阅读全帖 |

发帖数: 709 | 11 今天拿到一个temporary research associate的offer,6个月，说是可能延长到10个月
。工资和博后差不多。自己买保险之类的话可能还要少一点了。
面试的时候和几个人谈了谈，感觉做的挺低级的，就做centrifugation，可能加一点
chromatography.不过这个工作的POSTING的要求只是本科毕业，一年实验室经验。
不知道这个工作对以后找工作有没有帮助，从技术上好像没有。另外没有电话面试就让
我去on-site,刚回来就有HR打电话说特别喜欢我，要我星期一就去orientation.
PS:正在原来老板的实验室做博后，OPT开始了几个月。没有找博后的动力，不过6个月
以后这个temporary工作结束，不知道怎么样。

Another one is a two years job, in a dream industry company. Job is asking
for PhD.
Salaries are almost same for both jobs. Location are same. And both jobs
issue H1B. However, for the job description (also future career direction),
I'm more interested in the temporary one.
Which one do you think is better?

个USCIS Account Number (A-number)。

在收到EAD之前还能工作？

有错误，拿去USCIS correct了，只有中国护照上的Temporary I-551 stamp。
宝宝出生是在父母获得绿卡之前，是符合办理旅行证的要求的。不知道大使馆认不认
Stamp，用I-797上面的approval date来确认获得绿卡的时间是在宝宝出生之后, 同意
