I haven't seen a tent top that is not water resistant. so don't worry about
that. but they are always wet to the touch from inside. I don't think there
is any waterproof tent top. the bottom is waterproof though. look for one
with base extended at least 3 to 5 inches above ground so that water doesn't
flow in from the mesh sides. happened to me once. sucked.
