years and don't really miss it because there are many other sports to
keep me busy.
I had some lessons in the past and consider myself average, I wonder if
playing a few games with beginners will spark my interest again (the
couple people I know who live nearby and play tennis are both
beginners). But then I don't want to play anyone I hardly know and
embarrass myself after the two-year hiatus.

ahead of us.
"I have played people from D1-D3 as I coach college tennis and played at the
D1 level. Many of the D1 players I have played against are 5.5, but a
couple were as low as 3.5 since they played on a weak D1 team and they
played about 20 years ago. In the northeast except for the top couple of
teams, D3 tennis is better than D2 tennis. I have seen many 5.0 D3 players,

回答：大多数recreational player打球主要是以娱乐和健身为目的，所以觉得应该是
Play tennis to get fit，健身嘛，这样也省了去 gym ，所以不注意花固定的时间来
improve conditioning。这其实是个很大的错误。网球对knee, core, shoulder,
forearm, and wrist的肌肉和肌腱要求非常高，没有好的conditioning会对
recreational player带来诸多问题。举个例子，很多人回球不consistent，有时打出
winner，有时则象没学过球的人打出来的。这其中一个很重要的因素就是你 footwork
和 agility 练得不好，花太久才跑到球旁边，以至于根本没时间来完成高质量动作。
打不好也就算了，没有好的conditioning还导致受伤，最典型的是网球肘，另外膝盖，
肩部，腰部，腕部都很危险。

to refuse to carry Tennis Channel through its more readily available package
. Thus it's more difficult for people to be exposed to Tennis Channel.
I personally feel Tennis Channel is just a small player and Comcast has much
more say over what will be available at which price. |

1 新鲜血液。可能跟新任版主类似，是个新人，但对网球充满了无尽的热爱。从几年前
来到美国读书，就开始关注ATP WTA的几乎每个赛事，大满贯更是不会放过。没有在
MITBBS当过版主，但近1-2年在tennis版的活跃让我略知一二，也得到过该版上几位前
辈的指点，十分受益并感谢他们的无私帮助。希望可以跟版主和众版友一起进步，认识
的和不认识的，球技上的和球场外的。

说白了，就是旅游鞋，但是外侧前面比一般的旅游鞋宽，防止脚侧滑的时候
伤到脚踝用的。而且非常有用，一般的旅游鞋不成。
tennis shoe和racquet shoe都是一类的，可以通用
学校说体育课要穿Tennis Shoes。类似旅游鞋那样的可以吗？还是布面的什么的？什么
地方去买？
