当听了我的”English is not Math friendly“的理论后，惊呼你怎么不早说啊！
然后把她在中国出生和长大的２岁半的儿子叫了过来，表演了一下英文数数。
孩子从 one 到 ten都比较清晰，eleven twelve 也还好，thirteen之后就有个别混乱
到了 twenty之后又好了，最后数到了 twenty-ten，就跑了。
朋友说这个事情刚刚发生没两个星期，
本来孩子数数到 twenty-nine之后停在那里思考，结果孩子爸多嘴说了个 twenty-ten，
然后就像被内化了一样，twenty-nine之后就是twenty-ten，
家长尝试改了几次都没改过来，发愁死了。
听完我一番话才恍然大悟，原来不是自己孩子有问题，美国孩子都几乎这样。
真正有问题的，是那个和数学不太友好的语言。 |

肉，大人从不刻意这么教，可是小朋友开始都会学成重字，慢慢慢慢才会变换成杯子，
饭菜，等等。这里有个好笑的事情，最近小人儿在听这首西游记（唐僧骑马咚那个咚，

that was way back, probably in the 30's (i dont know the exact decades),
and there was a strong national anti-catholic sentiment. big ten schools
refused to schedule notre dame, let alone accepting it into the league.

The news out of Austin these days would have you believe that Nebraska’s
imminent move to the Big Ten conference is all about a longstanding grudge
dating back to the formation of the Big 12.

Ten was on the losing end of the first 10 meetings. The Big Ten finally won
2009, and also held on to their advantage in 2010 and 2011, before the two
conferences finished tied in 2012 and 2013. The Big Ten added two more wins
before the ACC won last year and dominated this year.
That makes the count 12-5-2 in favor of the ACC, and that conference has
extreme bragging rights once again. |
