Johnson Creek trail （9，000ft）-》Columbine Pass (12,500 ft)

大清早起来小朋友情绪不佳，各种whine，我想爸爸和傻妹儿（我家狗狗summer）； 各
种非人类，一步三晃，不肯前行。要知道今天我们得爬三千多尺，走至少9迈，不然就
赶不上明天回家的火车了。于是我各种威逼利诱，两个人开始刀光剑影，什么”I wish
you were not my mom/son"之类的都来了。
小A比我有耐心得多，和小朋友玩起他最粉的star wars角色分配。两人你来我往，小人
总算开始慢慢往前挪。慢是慢点，至少一直在走。
很喜欢这一张，一路上的常态。
清晨一抹亮色。
我们沿着Johnson Creek一路上行，到达这个basin，然后继续上升到Columbine Pass。
总算看到Columbine Lake，12，000ft的小高山湖。

所有3lb 左右的double wall tent都不是经造的。您在colorado, 气候比较干燥，可以
用single wall tent, 比如BD的light house之类。我家有一个，不错的。
如果你对你的帐篷不满意，去退了吧。至少也得去找他们换新的帐杆。

[前序]
我的同事中有不少人跑马的，他们也曾经鼓动我参加跑步运动，但是我一直觉得跑步很
无聊，跑马就更加不可想象了。但是今年一月底的时候，在LG的鼓动下，我们两个一年
跑过的距离加起来也不超过全马的的人居然报了六月三藩的全马。我的跑马的同事们都
说我们很疯狂。我其实报着舍命陪君子的态度，主要目的是让LG多多锻炼。
从二月开始，我们参加了为期16周的Run365的训练计划，同时也开始到跑版来潜水，仰
望各位牛人。我们工作都比较忙，除了一周勉强能参加两三次group run之外，基本没
有时间自己训练。中间度假和出差还错过了不少训练。不过感觉自己进步还是不小，从
一开始只能跑两三迈到后来跑十几迈也没问题。
[比赛前]
时间过得很快，一转眼六月份就到了。周六睡了一个大懒觉，吃过了午饭后开车到了三
藩，在旅馆check in之后走路到Hyatt (本次比赛的host hotel)坐shuttle去expo拿bib
和sweat bag。等到回到旅馆已到了吃晚饭的时候。 我和LG继续carbon-loading，各吃

28。一年进步1小时6分多，二马BQ。呵呵，牛逼吧！
感谢各位跑友的热情祝贺。老规矩，上报告，虽然晚了快一个月了。
赛前- 坑爹不断
因为工作上的一些事，星期六还加班了一些，结果就比计划晚睡了近一个小时。星期天
，4：15起床，洗漱准备，赶上了Metra芝麻专列。在火车上还碰上了一个版上的跑友，
他今年没比赛，而是在16迈水站volunteer。一边聊天，一边吃京酱肉丝拌米饭，很快
就到了Union Station.
再清空一下，整理好装备，就打的去Grant Park。坑爹的是，因为封路，这个出租车转
了十几分钟又把我放回了原处！旁边有一个哥们蹬三轮拉客，于是上了三轮。这个三轮
也没走多远就被拦下了。本想坐车到Grant Park 好节省体力，这么一耽误反而还得跑
去Grant Park。更坑爹的事还在后面。
慌慌张张往Grant Park赶的时候，发现俺的Garmin405又死了！好在，两个星期前的斑
马也出了同样的状况，有了经验，赶快reset Garmin405。

我老人家这次的波马，以彻底崩溃的5：00：16完成，混上了牌牌，穿上了夹克。虽然
成绩很糟糕，但是我老人家在困难的时候收获了家人，同学，跑友和同事们的关心和支
持，同时这次经历让俺对自己的实力和身体有了更深入的了解。就像大使说的，我老人
家收获最大！
再次感谢俺的领导和小情人们。再次感谢俺同学的帮助。再次感谢各位朋友，特别是德
狼和姚明的关心。
好吧，我老人家来露露丑吧 。

应该说我老人家对这一段时间的训练还算是满意的。基本上保持了55-60mpw的跑量。我
老人家发现，60mpw基本上就是俺的上限了。过了这个量，工作生活就会受到影响。基
本上跑步周期是四跑三休。

Given avalanche dangers the shovel, of course, is standard gear at this time
of
the year. It does come in handy for all sorts of other things as well. Digging
out a kitchen has already been mentioned and is highly recommended and
necessary if you are exposed to the wind.
Also if you are using a 3 season tent you should use the snow from digging
your tent platform to build up walls around your tent (minimum 4 feet). The
biggest part of the wall should be facing |

从Arches的大门口向北上US191，开6mile左右，看到棕色的指示路牌便往西拐到
UT313上。这一段是山路，但是路况很好，也没什么车，路两边是开放式的牧场（open
range）。小心牛羊的警示牌随处可见。开15mile左右，看到Dead Horse Point的指示
牌，左转，远远的就可以看到公园的入口了。
Dead Horse Point的tent camping一天$20，限一辆车，额外的一辆车多交$10的
over night fee。Campground 很干净，每一个tent site都一块平整的tent pad，四周
用木板围起来。每个site都有电源，一个shelter，内设储存柜，旁边还有Grill。卫生
间的远近取决于site number，不过最多走1分钟而已。考虑到沙漠的缺水状况，这个
campground虽然没有shower，它的设施算得上是很好的了。在shelter里贴着一张纸，
特别提出，公园里所有的水都是用大truck从70mile的地方运来的，希望游客节约用水。

还有就是，一般NP里面有出租camping的装备，比如tent什么的吗？
睡袋自己背着，tent如果也带着上飞机还要交托运费吧？再弱问，一个普通tent
一般能睡几个人啊？
问题太弱了，各位如果有什么关于camping的入门读物什么的推荐也很感激，谢谢

准备飞到EL PASO然后租车，掐头去尾有从取车到还车一共有4整天时间想去1 白沙，2
Tent Rocks 3圣塔菲的 Old Town ，4，Bandelier 5，Taos这5个地方是不是时间太紧
了？
计划行程:
第一天：EL PASO 开车到白沙（大概1个小时10分钟）白沙玩个半天，下午开车离开住
到TENT ROCKS附近。
第二天：玩TENT ROCKS 到下午，然后开车去圣塔菲住圣塔菲OLD TOWN 附近，傍晚和第
三天一早玩下圣塔菲的OLD TOWN。
第三天：上午BANDELIER，下午TAO'S住 TAO'S。
第四天：上午从TAO'S逛一圈然后晚上9点以前开回EL PASO 机场还车。
这个行程是不是太赶了？如果太赶的话想砍掉其中1个点，请问砍那个比较好？求大牛
们拔草！！！ |

就是Tent里有自己的浴室和厕所。一个人接近3K，不是旺季会便宜一些，比如到2K多一
些。这个Tent的差别不小，有的真挺高级的，有的是外面挂一个桶，当地的人把热水倒
在里面，流到屋里洗澡，也挺不容易的。 |

1. 在厨房，空间小，随便找个地方tent mode，就可以开始看电视或者菜谱了。你如果
嫌手脏，还可以用声控。
2. 玩store里面的平板游戏时，直接stand mode放在腿上或者桌上，不用手捧着，比平
板省力，屏幕还比普通平板大很多
3. 在赖床的时候，侧身，tent mode，刚好是portrait view，上网超方便。
4. 看pdf，tent mode 立桌上或者tablet mode放桌上，portrait view都挺方便的。 |
