不是在美国境外（bahamas）就是 u.s. territories (Caribbean)，或者是要经过加拿
大（alaska）。
请问大家：如果我父母的身份是在等候延期申请批准的期间的话， 是不是他们就不能
去任何cruise了（除非去夏威夷，但是那不make sense，去那儿就不如直接从那儿回国
算了）？
目前唯一看起来可能的是u.s. territories。 请大家知道的帮回复一下：签证延期等
候批准期间能去u.s.territories吗？基本上我感觉这个问题就是：u.s. territories

Build up ur territory这个观点我也很赞同，不过A和B蛋白是同一个家族的，这个家
族就是本Lab的territory，如果乙博后不做这个B蛋白的话，我做这个B蛋白也是属于同
一个territory，不是什么random paper，否则我的A蛋白project为什么会被老板要求
扩展到B蛋白呢？大家可能忽视了我的这一句话。
至于RP问题我觉得此初是个伪命题，本人一向对本族同胞非常够哥们，华人圈子里的口
碑还是很不错的。可惜这个乙博后是个日本人，再说有实力的话完全可以公平竞争嘛，
否则今后到底是合作还是竞争都很难讲。没准这个project归谁就决定了在这个
territory谁占优势。何况乙在这个project上目前也还是一点data都没有，就算我如果
现在和他同时起跑，也是fair play，这又不是造假和偷袭。我老板经常在Lab说：“
Idea is cheap，data and paper talks！”。
不过说实话，和日本人在一个实验室共事这么多年，感觉他们确实很守规矩，尤其在美
国人面前。我也在犹豫，要不要搞一把“联美压日”的策略。

百年战争前，基本是封建关系盛行，所以英格兰国王占的法国领土是法王的7倍，但到

兰大贵族势力大幅度削弱，所以君主专制的拦路石就被搬走了。
关于territorial sovereignty，你说17世纪中叶主要说的是1648的维斯特法利亚条约
吧，但说才出现值得商榷，100多年前亨利第八的离婚案在一定程度上就体现了
territorial sovereignty。当然territorial sovereignty不能说是离婚案的目的，但客观

华尔街日报社评指出，美国奥巴马政府应明确表示钓鱼岛属於日本，态度愈明确，中国
放弃的可能就愈高。
这篇10月31日的社评以「日本需要美国支持抗衡中国欺凌」为题，通篇采用美国和日本
一贯使用的尖阁诸岛来称呼钓鱼岛。评论开篇即指出，中国领导人以为经常派遣船舰和
飞机进入钓鱼岛的日本领土，就会令到日本屈服於中国的主张，但中国这种骚扰和恫吓
策略只是适得其反。
评论认为，在第二次世界大战後，美国从日本手中取过钓鱼岛管理权，然後在1970年代
末期归还给日本，当时就已有效地解决了钓鱼岛的归属权问题。奥巴马政府愈明确表示
钓鱼岛是属於日本的，北京也就愈可能退下去。
华尔街日报这篇社评被认为是自2012年9月日本政府宣布钓鱼岛「国有化」以来，美国
主流传媒首次通过社论明确提出钓鱼岛主权属於日本，并要求美国政府公开承认。
