今天下午刚拿到驾照。以前我蹲的州都有比较好的public transportation system，我
没必要一定要开车，所以一直只有permit, 没有去考过road test. 到了NJ没有车诸事
不便，加上我的司机经常指东打西，驾照就非得快拿到不可了。:)
考完路考，我有一些tips可以和大家分享，希望新来的人少走些弯路，另外也希望能抛
砖引玉，希望大家都来分享在NJ生活的一些小窍门，让NJ版的信息update更快一些。
我是在Princeton的Mercer county DMV考的road test。我在DMV的road test 考点附近
蹲点了一段时间，对整个考试流程和考官做了一些研究。：）
先说knowledge test. Knowledge test 的问题都在6 points id的那本小册子里,但是
考的会很细致,一些你可能会忽略的数字都有可能会被考到,所以去考试之前还是仔细看
看.

的test result。我拿着这个negative的test result去petfooddirect买药，人家说不
卖，需要prescription，这个只是个test result。我就去管luvmypet要prescription,
他们竟然说他们不给开prescription的，只给test result。我说不给prescription人
家不给卖药
啊，他们竟然让我去找个vet开prescription。。。我晕哦，你只管给做test，不给开
prescription,还有这个道理？那我找你做test干嘛？
我仔细想想我以前也在petco做的这个test，也在petfooddirect买过药，都没问题啊，

目标：sync，所用时间最短，能确保所需要的核心250个object添加到目前的数据库中。
现状：
dev&test目前没人管，因为这个environment只有2个team用agile方法作项目，主要的
dev和test在另外的dev 和 test 来做。没有sync。
现有一项目需要在dev&test做test。目前主要缺少250个database object没有在dev&
test更新。这些object涉及table, view, trigger, stored procedure, function,
DML。由于table, trigger涉及key, constrains, ER relation，而缺少250object的现
dev&test和production也存在差异，很多地方需要人工看script，发现差异/问题，解决问题。不能简单的讲script里面的create改成alter直接运行。
困难：

挣钱，慢慢来），工作的口的广度，发展，职位的多寡，job security这些来说，这两
种职位的发展各自是怎样的？哪个更好一点呢？
linkedin上看了一两个月了，我个人感觉好像test要好一点，因为device好像还是一些
做fab的做得多，intel, sandisk这些，加上一些power的，基本上半导体公司都有
device engineer位置，不过职位没有很多的感觉，看job description基本上是锁定有
fab+characterization双重背景的物理phd吧，而且应该还是算工艺那一块，主要是和
process group合作吧？
test呢，感觉就多很多，传统的做工艺的intel要人做test,fabless的那些qualcomm,
marvel之类的甚至google,ms都有hardware test position。job description写得五花
八门，基本精髓还是差不多的，玩仪器+用测试模拟软件+可能要求高些的要会点

工作一年半。最开始是data analyst，主要是捣腾捣腾数据库（MS sql server）,写点
Query,stored procedure 和做一点analytic reports。后来想多学点东西就转到Dev部
门做了一年testing。具体是做automation test，用的是C#, Selenium, Nunit还有一
些小工具，构架了一个很简单的automation test framework。然后开发了一些user
acceptance test cases。
现在的情况是我觉得对这方面挺感兴趣的，自己也学了不少东西，挺希望在这个track
继续下去的,但是我们公司之前这些测试都是外包给印度人的，后来把外包公司裁了一
大半就让我这自己人先捣腾。估计是公司内部财务方案变动很大，我这个组搞这个测试
的一年下来就我一个人，所有东西都是我自己整的，因为自己也就刚入行，觉得到了瓶

，lab的人screwed up the blood test,要我再验血，然后有抽了一筒血，送到加州一个lab说
他们可以做一个精确度比较高的test. 结果今天（过了3个星期），医生通知我说，他们试验失
败了，取消了blood test. 这样，他们没办法估计twins得唐氏的风险，整个实验失败。
请问姐妹们遇过这种情况吗？ nucal thinkness本身能不能判断得唐氏的风险？这种情
况下，医院还应该charge我做test的钱吗（我交了$40 co-pay). 顺便问一下，大B超一般是第几
周做？ 我现在第17周，医生没有给我order大B超，下次的appointment是20周，如

上周做了第一次产检，LP28岁，第一次怀孕。
检查No 1:做了B超.
小家伙9周多一点。
检查No.2:抽了血.
我看那个单子，估计是做了“first trimester screening Blood Test”（因为这个项
目显示大概时间是10
-14周），主要目的是“assess risk of Down's Syndrome and Trisomy 18 as well
as heart defects”。检查结果还没出来。
另外虽然医生没给我明确说做的什么项目的产检，但是我看了她给的一些材料，外加一
些文档，说first
trimester screening Blood and ultrasound Test，就是用超声波和血检，而我们当
时也正好是做了这两项，抽血还抽了5管，挺多的。
那这么看来上次应该作恶是这个“first trimester screening test”吧

率1/6000,Trisomy 18的概率是/10000,OB说结果很好,不需要做进一步的diagnostic
test.
这一次AFP test OB只是简单提了提,她说test是optional的,false positive高,并且查
的项目20周的大B超也能查出来,而且更准确,我想她说的应该是neural tube defects吧
.我听她的意思好象没啥必要,就decline了.
现在发现网上的很多姐妹都做了,我又后悔了.人就是这样.不怕一万,就怕万一.有没有
比较明白的姐妹给我科普一下,我到底需不需要做这个test? 而且我现在已经19周了,也

问如何improve。老师说，小孩reading，math都很好，不需要improve。ability test
是inborn的，improve不了！所以直白的说，就是小孩成绩好，因为先天的不够聪明没
有进AG。
这次，说重新考虑小孩可能进AG ，可能要一些test。目前所有的test小孩都超过９５
％（AG 标准），但没有受到通知小孩能不能进AG。
第一次是AG 老师和我们说小孩不够聪明（ability test不好）没有进AG 。这一次不知
道能不能进AG （班老师说不排除AG老师已经要了别得人进AG，她会帮我们问）。那如
果这次不能进AG，不就是还是因为AG 老师说的不够聪明吗？因为所有新的test都很好。
