是contractor position。 但是两年的contractor。如果做下来的话会应该没有问题的
转正。可以负责任的说，工作轻松。五点大家都下班了。尤其会有一个很好的老板。
best manager ever。非常体谅员工家庭需要。小孩子有事情要请假，work from home
什么的都很容易。她也很考虑下属的意见。我是真心觉得很幸运有这样一个老板，使得
工作很有乐趣。所以向大家推荐。和计算机， EE， IT infomation system 等相关专

wiki一下吧，testing分几个level, 你做的可能是system integration testing。我只
跟做user acceptance和functional testing的tester打过交道，他们基本就是根据
requirements纠错的，每个release出来前后，所有的（包括以前releases的）testing
scripts都要run 一遍,称作regressional testing,所以我觉得比较无聊。这一level
的QA/testing我觉得女的做比较合适(老印软工的家属不少），因为比较耐心和细心，
对技术的要求不是很高，会sql熟悉一些testing tool就可以了。话说现在web app的
testing都可以automated了,所以不知道tester的市场需求会有多大。

最近收到DOL的回复给的SOC code是15-1132， occupation title是Software
Developers, Applications
由于Dev的工资比较高，现在公司只能给level2的工资，就只能走EB3.如果DOL认为我是
tester的话，同样的工资是level3，就能走EB2.
请问怎么能让DOL认为我是tester？还是说不能改了。 |

很多公司的pm/the rest比率都是1/15或更高，而MS基本上是1/5
这样MS应该裁掉更多的tester和PM吧？而且很多testing的东西都outsource到中国和印
度了，在testing position的童鞋应该赶快转dev了。

关键在于，SDET被招进来的时候，强调的是开发automation tool和testing tool，听
起来不错，问题是实际上no one cares你开发了什么tool，你能够visible的就是fire
了多少bug，帮助dev处理了多少bug（其实就是帮一下repro）。我老板就经常说：我知
道你们都想去给我们的tool做一些fancy feature，但是repro bug这种东西虽然无聊，
但是没办法必须要做。
这些事情是无聊，但是是developing中的必要环节。无聊的事情，做了总得有意义是不
是？从公司的角度来说，这当然有意义，tester repro，然后dev fix，分工明确，看
起来多爽。问题是从engineer自己角度来说，我费半天精神就为了搭建一个repro bug
，然后怎么fix，怎么修改这些“有点意思”的工作和credit，就全部给dev了？dev有
时候还要怪你repro慢了，所以越来越没有motivation。
