这学期在方法方面与一个答辩委员有争辩，最后他也同意了我的意见。导师水平不高，
很少能给我提出有价值意见，但在组织meeting方面还是比较负责。对他经常对我的
proposal不提意见，我也是装聋作哑，还是很尊重他。08年11月份时，导师就说他感到
proposal写的可以了，就是方法方面他不懂，还不敢确定。
但3月份和chair开会时，导师突然说了大量不利我的话，当然全部是谎言。我当时
毫无准备，基本没有反应过来。只是在导师说我的方法是copy of textbook时，我反驳
了一句说关于这种方法根本就没有textbook。会后，我情绪比较激动，在email中说我
为了写proposal，一年多基本没有休息过，希望他能够尊重我的付出。几天后chair给
我写了封信，把会议上导师说的话总结了一下。我相当于又被刺激了一次，写信给
chair要求见面，表达我的concerns。但第二天一想，以后还要和导师相处写论文，这
口气还是忍了吧，因此又要求不开会。

后来人有帮助。很多时候我们尽自己最大的努力去准备，结果如何，交托上帝手中，将
一切的忧虑卸给神，因为祂顾念我们。相信或走或留，有神同在，都会走出一条恩典之
路来。
1. DIY 还是找律师？
各有利弊。我两年前申请NIW时的时候找了律师，律师帮忙写的推荐信。这次申请EB1A
是DIY，主要原因是律师不肯接，理由是引用不过100，把握不大。想想有了NIW的经验
，推荐信再改改，DIY的难度应该不大，于是就DIY了。在DIY的过程中，感觉对于相对
来说比较弱的case，DIY肯定比律师来弄把握更大，因为只有自己最了解自己，也对于
自己的申请更上心，更能挖掘出闪光点。如果你的case很强，属于肯定能过的，找律师
肯定更省心。下面的可以不用看了。
2. 怎么准备I-140的申请？
第一步：做足功课。
