计算机科学的先驱人物阿兰-图林（Alan Turing）的名字本周出现在许多媒体上，
美国计算机协会3月9日宣布将本年度“图林奖”授予微软公司硅谷实验室的科学家、在
现代个人电脑及相关技术领域有杰出成就的查尔斯-萨克（Charles Thacker），以阿兰
-图林的名字命名的“图林奖”被称为计算机科学界的诺贝尔奖。也是在本周，图林的
名字还被人与2012年伦敦奥林匹克运动会相联系，在英国有人建议将这届奥运会的马拉
松比赛以阿兰-图林的名字命名。
提出有关建议的人士，是去年曾发起向英国首相请愿、最终促成首相布朗在去年9
月代表英国政府正式向阿兰-图林道歉的英国计算机软件专家约翰-格拉汉姆-奎明（
John Graham-Cumming）。
图林被公认为计算机科学和人工智能研究的奠基人，计算机的诞生和发展离不开图
