源, 希罗多德的《历史》是文艺复兴人改编或编制的诗情小说而非信史.
希罗多德出生在小亚细亚的哈利卡纳苏斯（今天的土耳其的博斯鲁德）城邦，他出
生时这个城邦是波斯的第一省区。换句话说，如果历史上确实曾经有过希罗多德此人的
话——那么此人并非希腊人，而是希腊的对头波斯人。
那么，何以一个波斯人希罗多德竟然成为了最著名的希腊历史之父呢？这一转换的
关键是文艺复兴以后的西方史学家编制了一个关于希腊人在公元前1000年——500年前
后500年期间曾在小亚细亚的爱奥尼亚建立过殖民地的伪史。据说这个波斯城邦曾经是
”多利斯人“（何新按语：这是历史上没有真实存在的一个虚构种族）在小亚细亚的殖
民地。而所谓多利斯人，并非历史上真正存在的一个民族，而来自来源不明的荷马神话
诗中的虚构。
