推妈啊。大宝18个月，我住院回家，发现他不说话，连babbling都没有了，就给他联系
speech therapy。在小宝6个月前，我一心一意陪大宝speech therapy。等大宝语言赶
上了，小宝早产，8个月不会爬，医生说有可能手臂力量不够，我立刻联系physical
therapy，风雨无阻，带他去训练。自己在家也按照therapist方法来做。训了2个月，
小宝1岁生日的时候终于会爬了。
我那段时间，感觉就一天到晚去therapy了，周围有几个朋友邻居都觉得我小题大做。
孩子嘛，等一等，不是什么都会了。我的想法不同。2岁前，尤其是6-18个月，各方面
的发展都开始迅速，而且各方面的发展都是互相影响，交织在一起的。也许一方面的落
后会影响其他方面的发展。孩子的发展都是不可逆的。当时人人都说大宝这么聪明的孩
子（当时评估出来确实各方面都超前，除了expressive language)，早晚会说话的。但是我觉得能push的时候给push一下，让他早一点赶上，不是更好

publication：一作9篇,虽然大部分IF只有2.多和4.多，但也有2篇8分的。而且老板说
虽然Molecular pharmaceutics 和Molecular therapy这样的journal的IF不高，但是在
圈子内是很有影响力的。
老板：tenured professor，不算牛人吧，但也不差，挺productive的。
学校：TOP30的私立
我承认，现在基本都要先做postdoc，可是，我觉得对一个phd来说，我的profile不差
吧？而且我要求不高，只要能去100左右的research school就可以了。

现在medcare都快破产了，再增加项目恐怕很困难。

还有conservative laser therapy，目前用的是HMO，前者保险全部cover，但是后者一
点不cover，每个Quadrant花费$115，一共是$460,全部要自己出。给牙医前台和保险公
司打了若干电话，都是找借口敷衍了事，没有人愿意正面回答，搞得越来越糊涂。
我现在主要的问题是：
1,是不是一般换成PPO，例如dental dental的PPO，那个laser部分就可以cover一大部
分了？
2,这个laser therapy到底需不需要？开始不知道，问保险公司的时候人家说
periodontal scaling and root planing就是deep cleaning，全部cover，根本不需要
什么laser。上网google了一些，有些地方说并无证明laser therapy有什么帮助，好像
只不过是一个给牙医敛钱的新技术。
有经验的说说呗。 |

THERAPY的费用。所以一切还OK。
毕业后由于某种原因忘了续约学校的保险，之后再找回那家公司，因为我以前的看病记
录拒绝帮我继续保险。 自己也联系了其他的一些保险公司，不是听了我的状况拒绝，
就是给我保的非常少，现在我用的保险只COVER 药钱的头两三十刀，其余自负，每瓶药
几乎上百，而且竟然不允许我找医生THERAPY！
TALK THERAPY 对于DEPRESSION 病人来说是非常重要的。现在只能每月看一下开药的医
生。一个人坚持着生活很吃力，情况反反复复。美帝这鬼地方，看个病还这么麻烦，还
让不让人活了。。。

because 颅咽管瘤 is so distinct on MRI scans. 颅咽管瘤 in children have
large cysts in >99% cases whereas infratentorial gliomas rarely show cystic
changes before radiation therapy. 颅咽管瘤 can encroach into the brainstem
but the epicenter is outside the brainstem.
Intracranial choriocarcinomas are very rare. But as HCG was significantly

develop very fast and spread to the opposite side very early. Treatment is
surgery plus adjuvant therapy (radiation therapy and chemo). Early surgery
is very very important. You need to find a very good hospital who has
extensive experience on this kind of tumor. (I saw a patient with GBM who
did two surgeries 10 years ago at the beginning and then several years ago

experience On this disease. Here is what I have known from literature review

yes, targeted therapy produces very good results in the majority of certain
diseases, and in a small number of patients with other diseases. lung
cancers are the case where a small # benefits greatly from targeted therapy.

even the biggest hospitals, much. someone wanted me to have a look of his
case, and the path report said predominantly solid, but the only picture on
the report was predominantly micropapillary to me. i asked the blocks to be
sent to a pathologist i work with, and it was confirmed as predominantly
micropapillary. it was from one of the biggest hospitals.

garments, chronic pain therapy, laser therapy for the cutaneous
stain, and vascular/orthopedic surgical procedures as needed. The

therapy和occupational therapy的，具体能qualify哪些要看诊断的严重程度. 大
部分人都是完全用的免费项目的，不用担心花费.
这些事情，越早办越好，early intervention对自闭症小孩非常重要，越早开始，

发帖数: 402 | 50 上来冒个泡。 癌症治疗不要把医生当神，否则不到预期效果会很受不了。但要把医生
当有专业知识能帮助你的人。所以自己要多做research, 做透，多问问题，多和医生沟
通。要写日记，问题记下来，答案也记下来。留下所有医生的email, 如果能email沟通
也可以。
一旦开始therapy, 要每天记日记。吃多少，睡多少，type of therapy, from time
and to time of the therapy, 副作用都要写清楚。这样可以比较清楚看到变化。
对STS来说，应该radiotherapy更有效。至少成人是这样。化疗效果很难说。所以你要
问清楚。很可能你的孩子做完chemo, 要做radiotherapy. 怎么保护（因为是extremity
area, 我认为还是可以保护得很好），要不要上麻药，大人受保护后可否在现场。
chemo的话，小孩太小，肯定要上麻药，加上反应，支持治疗（如止吐，保护胃粘膜，
提高白血球，红血球，抗过敏）一定要跟上。营养师肯定会为你们配的，要多问，怎么
在治疗期间喂养。
