因为工作关系，我到了三番地区。于是老婆到bay area找thermal engineer的职位。
拿到了tesla的面试。首先是7道考题，每个大考题下面还有小考题，要求48小时内做完。
然后通知onsite，通知完recruiter就没动静了，说好的日子也没了。过了一周周四突
然告知下周一onnsite面试，要求做一个design project，带着产品，画图，ppt去面
试。她在东海岸，要飞到西海岸。
老婆在家照顾刚出生几个月的小孩也没有个什么软件和材料，收到邮件后连夜赶紧跑到
walmart等电子店去买材料。可惜要的那些东西普通的电子商店也没有。于是赶紧到
amazon上紧急购买。
终于到了周六收到了材料。连忙准备好计算/ppt加上实物设计。
我也恰巧那个周一第一天到公司的三番部门报道。于是两个人一起周日出发（我跟着
tesla给定的票买的飞机票）。
本来9个小时的飞机，因为三番机场的临时维修，把我们的航班取消了。辗转了几次终
于到了三番。可是行李已经被航空公司折腾没了，都不知道送到哪里去了，里面装着老

发帖数: 1636 | 47 两天前发现车库里有不知来源的水。昨天发现是hot water heater thermal expansion
tank漏了一个洞，往外喷的水。打电话问了几个地方，或者说不接这个活，或者说很
简单，自己就可以做，否则水管工要125美元一个小时。于是昨天买了新的罐子，今天
决定就自己做了。
首先关了冷水进水管，然后把热水tank的天然气给关了。打开热水龙头放水。放了有一
个多小时了，怎么还不见水小。一琢磨，估计是冷水进水管的阀门关不紧，于是把整个
房子的进水阀门关好了。很快，水就下来了。又等了半个多小时，就可以开始换了。先
把旧的拧下来，用了扳手。发现水还是会缓缓地涌出。于是就用厨房用的吸水纸巾把水
吸干。在新的罐子接口用tape包一下，然后赶紧拧上去。拧好以后，打开水，打开热水
器，一切都好。有发现冷水进口处有点渗水，用管钳拧紧，不漏水了。等了几个小时，
在看看，一切都好。 |
