这个朋友对孩子的教育很感兴趣，所以就谈起来了中美教育问题。
当听了我的”English is not Math friendly“的理论后，惊呼你怎么不早说啊！
然后把她在中国出生和长大的２岁半的儿子叫了过来，表演了一下英文数数。
孩子从 one 到 ten都比较清晰，eleven twelve 也还好，thirteen之后就有个别混乱
到了 twenty之后又好了，最后数到了 twenty-ten，就跑了。
朋友说这个事情刚刚发生没两个星期，
本来孩子数数到 twenty-nine之后停在那里思考，结果孩子爸多嘴说了个 twenty-ten，
然后就像被内化了一样，twenty-nine之后就是twenty-ten，
家长尝试改了几次都没改过来，发愁死了。
听完我一番话才恍然大悟，原来不是自己孩子有问题，美国孩子都几乎这样。
真正有问题的，是那个和数学不太友好的语言。 |

首先，要理解下面这段文字，需要 UN-LEARN number in English。 能做到么？
现在听这个故事——
小朋友是有数感的。
数感是对数字的最原始的理解能力，包括排序、相等不相等、大小之类的。
数感在3岁就已经有了，甚至是更小的年龄。
好啦，现在你开始教小朋友学数学啦。
先开始学英语数数吧——
one，two three four five......nine, ten, eleven, twelve,
继续数 thirteen, fourteen,.... ninteen, twenty
然后你又教小朋友下一个是 twenty-one， twenty-two，....
现在小朋友已经学到了 twenty-nine， 你不教他下一个数字。
你猜小朋友下一个会数什么？

其中我延伸出了一个问题——Dyscalculia （特殊教育的专业词汇——运算障碍）
例子是：为什么美国小朋友会写 17 ＋ 46 ＝ 513 这样的算式？
做seminar的那个时候，我介绍说如果用算盘作数学的 manipulatives，
不管你是从高位向低位加，还是低位往高位加，都不可能凭空多出一位。

后来我认识到的是————英语，没错，就是英语，才是罪魁祸首。

编故事，讲究推进自然，即使戏剧性较强也要讲究一个合理。可是编着编着，作者为了
抖一个包袱，人物性格就不自然了突兀了。作者自己看着都不好意思，这时候怎么办？
根据某id的提示，就是靠这个来救场：偏执型人格。
具体点说就是越有困难越要上，没有困难创作困难也要上；做事一定要做到底（这个其
实很难很难）。这样本来不合理的情节推进，可能还是不合理，可是观者读者由于接受
了作者性格偏执这一设定，就不细究情节是否合理了。
这样的的片子太多了，尤其是正剧类悲剧类。比如桂河大桥（the bridge on the
river kwai）里的男一号colonel，辛德勒名单里的男一号，Satas提到的the dark
knight里的小丑和batman，都是这路病态性格。
大家不妨想想，有多少电影是这么设置角色的，有多少小说是这么写的。连张艺谋都意
识到了这点，他那些糟糕编剧的电影全是这么来的，部部这样，简直变态。
往好了说，这就是曾国藩说的“挺”。能挺，就能做成一些事；一旦不能挺，很多事就
做不成了。
有时候那种浓烈的情节剧惊悚局，光顾着开头好看有drama，抓人眼球，故事越编越离
