thyroid gland. So an ultra-sound was done as suggested. Based on ultra-
sound, that nodule on the right thyroid gland was 2cm in diameter (she also

是说要吃 因为每次测量thyroid level都是正常 不偏高（是在吃药的情况下 75mcg)
我估计这就是说明我有thyroid problem.
有MM知道的吗 难道怀孕会让人得上终身的甲减吗 虽然医生说这点量是很少的 但是还
是很担心阿

ULTRASOUND的检查结果，告知”your thyroid function is low"，并给我开了药
Levothyroxine. 我在百度上查找"甲状腺功能低下"，发现其有专门术语叫
hypothyroidism，所以很想问医生给我的诊断跟hypothyroidism是一回事吗？我查看自
己2009年9月份的化验结果单，上面的 thyroid一项是正常的。所以这应该是这半年来
的一个新症状，我的确在过去两个星期以来感觉到体力不支，身体疲乏。

heterogeneous nodule with mild internal vascularity in the mid pole is 1.2

hypoechoic nodule without internal vascularity in the mid pole is 0.4 x 0.6

i would suggest he start taking tabozol (?) or another medicine, which i
forgot the name. i don't think any action taken here would confuse doctors
in china except for iodine radiation, which will usually take about over 2
months to see the results.... and expensive.
if your father doesn't want an iodine radiation in the future, he can ask
the doctor here to prescribe tabozol... your father would feel very

need treatment. the determination requires the overall evaluation by the
surgeon. if he feels it is more likely a cancer, then go for an open biopsy.
if the open biopsy is suggestive of a cancer, he can proceed to do the full
procedure.
thyroid cancers have better prognosis in young patients than in elder ones. |

7月份b超是这样的，大家看看像不像恶性? 甲状腺双侧叶及峡部大小形体正常，被膜光
滑，腺体组织回声欠均匀，稍增粗，甲状腺左叶内见多处大小不等低等回声结节，较大
者位于腺体浅层，大小2.4*1.0cm,边界清晰。右叶中部深面似见0.7*0.4等回声结节，
边界欠清晰,CDFI上述结节周边可采集散在血流信号。左颌下见1.7*0.8淋巴结回声，左
颌下见2.1*0.9淋巴结回声。
8月份在国内另一家做的，想看一下那个大的变大没，没想到不同医院仪器不一样，没
法比较：甲状腺右叶1.79cm,峡部厚0.32cm,左叶厚1.89cm,实质回声增粗欠均，甲状腺
左叶可见中等回声结节，大小约2.36*1.15cm,边界尚清CDFI:期内可见血流信号显示，

星期，然后发展成甲减，甲减期可持续2周，最久6个月，以后甲状腺功能可以慢慢恢复
。有30％的女性停留在甲减期不恢复，需要终身服药，在甲减诊断的前6个月内，医生
一般会说 you might need take...rest of your life. （might=可能，不等于必需）
因为甲状腺激素是人体必需激素，在T4很低或者TSH很高的情况下，一般给予T4治疗。
70％妇女产后一年甲状腺功能恢复正常。30％需要长期替代治疗。（着30％的人在以后

It is important to realize that if a patient has thyroid antibodies, all
bets are off. All thyroid blood tests from that point on are thrown off,
including the Free T3. In that case, one definitely has to go by symptoms to
