If 9ers have timeouts, ravens will not give away safety. They just played

timeout box就行了。 现在 window 没了. 但每３０分钟就停. 不知 default
setting 在哪? 看了一下

发帖数: 4501 | 9 Timeout 确实是一种有争议的做法，有的幼儿园是不用的，至少不能滥用.据说一般比
较合适的做法是2岁两分钟，3岁3 分钟。
Timeout也不等于关小屋子。关不管小屋子对儿童心理的影响完全是不一样的。我在
daycare见到的做法是，老师让孩子在屋子角落，或则水槽边呆个几分钟即可。儿童心
理比较脆弱，要小心对待。
这个Daycare 设个禁闭屋，不知道有没有明确的惩罚章程，比如犯了什么错关几分钟，
如果有也至少要让家长知道。从我个人感觉来，设个禁闭屋是过了。对小小孩还是要以
爱的教育为主，加上适当的displine. |

边的。跟timeout chair或者屋子角落没区别，而且还有人陪着。timeout不是为了惩罚
，是为了让小朋友冷静下来后好讲道理。 |

1。那时候刚好差不多24秒，而且分数不落后，不需要急着进攻得手
2。不让对方针对性防守。
3。不让对方针对性换人。在BUCK进攻前，他们落后2分，叫了TIMEOUT,虽然我对BUCK人
员不是很熟悉，但相信那时候5个上场球员中肯定有一些防守不一定好，但进攻还可以
赌一下或者有牵扯对方注意的球员，类似LAKER中物价之类的。当他们进攻得手，而
LAKER 叫了暂停，BUCK 就可以趁机换上一帮子防守球员。所以我觉得那时候不叫
TIMEOUT 是很正确的。 |

So timeout basscially means to let someone sit out because of his or her bad

具体量化的衡量标准。当然，要想所有情况都量化，也不可能，大家只好 live with
it，然后事后 debate。NFL 自己当然不会承认自己的规则存在 loophole。
比如说，give up advancing the ball，怎么衡量一个人 give up 了呢？我们见过
很多 trick play 例子，进攻队员佯装不玩了 (比如QB 往场外走似乎要 timeout)，
结果防守方一个大意，进攻方顺势继续攻击，捡个大便宜。具体到 Cruz 这个 play，
他把球放下，如果防守方松懈了，1 秒之后他又捡起来继续跑了个TD，裁判有没有
可能吹他回来？如果吹回来，说他已经 give up 了，他也可以争论说，我本意就是
要玩 trick，根本没想要 give up 呀! 如果倒地1秒太短，那么2秒呢？3秒呢？
现实中，Cruz 也承认了他不是本意要主动 give up，而是自己以为被 downed by touch了。

第一是20秒的时候叫了最后一个暂停：已经到了底线15码左右，面临 3rd down，即
便不暂停，10秒之后足够发动一次进攻，还有10秒时间，可以直传end zone，可以
短传再跑，可以直接跑，可以传边线，能TD最好，就算被挡住也可以叫 timeout，
FG。现在就用掉 timeout，就算保留了全部20秒，还是只有一个选择，直接传end
zone，否则只能扔出边线。
第二是 Freeman 居然被麻袋也不throw it away!
第三是 Freeman 被麻袋是15秒，特种队急忙上场，FG 在 还剩 5 秒就发动了，再等
几秒让人走光再射不行吗？ |

长期球迷，不喜欢Patriots. 原因是不喜欢他们的owner. 是个真小人（做事情behind
the curtain）, 经常作一些classless 的事情。不讨厌bellicheck, 认为Bill 是个很
有天赋的教练。个人相信很多事情是Bill替owner被了黑锅（虽然没有证据，呵呵）。
不是太喜欢Brady (坦白主要原因是羡慕忌妒，哈哈)。但并不讨厌Brady. PS: 希望
wes Welker 离开pats拿一个superbowl. He deserves it.
不是很Care 巨人队，主要原因是刚开始看球的时候NFC很烂，最初印象 任何NFC球队进
了SuperBowl都会被虐。但现在变了，这个一下会有交待。
言归正传，这次superbowl ，俺们的总结。
1． 压力如此大的比赛，心理素质忒重要了。 两方的QB心理素质都很好，个人认为
Eli甚至还要好一些（这哥们越是压力大约是牛，反而普通比赛胡搞，和Peyton相反阿

有悬念的pass play, 怎么能够trick防守呢。而且，5码已经很近了，只要有条缝，CK
就有可能冲进去。2nd down 冲不进去没关系，3rd down 防守就不知道你会打什么了。
金哈宝最后2分钟浪费了一次timeout, 离goal line 5 码 VS 10 码，pass play 没有
区别，甚至更好，对CK来说。
多一次timeout，SF最后也许有一分钟的机会。不然，黑鸟就一定要打1st down。 |

今天电台里讲到Wisconsin曾经有场比赛，观众太吵，被连罚了3个TO，还是安静不下来
，然后又罚了5码。对方到了1码线，轻松踏旗。

A false start is one example. Intentionally grounding a pass is another.

my impression to him.
He had to use his timeout, many times he called timeout for his
opponents, like Jike lost 4 points in a row against Joo...
very bad call, he is good at handling relationship with Cai
Zhenhua, whereas his skill to read matches is a lot worse than
Wang Tao, Li Xiaodong etc, let alone Ma Lin@! |

won 3 points, i called timeout, suddenly i lost all of my "Qi" after
coming back from my own timeout, weird feeling, i felt i was playing
at 1500 level instead of previous 2100 level:-)

my game depends on my mental toughness, guess it is in my Hunanese
blood, i need to have that fighting spirit to play at my best.
This tournament was too long for me, from 12:20pm Sat to like 10pm
almost 34 hours except driving/shower/breakfast time...
against Wei:
i led 10: 3 in my first game, lost 4 points in a row, won 11:7
won 2nd game like 11:4 or 5, suddenly lost 3rd game 4:11...
drama, so dramatic...

one hour later, more tired, more dramatic, led 10:4 in 3rd, lost

发帖数: 1696 | 50 Usually a player's momentum goes down when the opponent claims injury. On
the other hand, player with injury usually gets a sudden advantage on
momentum. You see this even in amateur games if anybody had played with
injury and played injured partner.
Further, the player who complained to the Umpire on the timeout usually gets
booed or at least less support from audience, which makes the situation
worse for that player.
These things add up, sometimes are critical enough to change a close game.
