example, I think succinate protects kidney cells from oxidative injury ex
vivo. Acetate could do they same thing. Yes, both of them will get
converted to tocopherol. Btw, tocopherol is the bad vitamin E. It is the
one has been shown to increase your prostate cancer rate. If you really
want to protect cells, try tocotrienol. You will realize it is at least 10

What's the mechanism? How to prove it? For example, there are similar
antioxidant effects between 1 uM tocotrienol and 10 or 100 uM Tocopherol.

every weekend when I lived there. It is so nice to meet with you at mitbbs.
I am working on a chemical regeant. This reagent could induce ROS generation
and caused cell death in cultured cell. Both alpha-tocopherol and alpha-
tocotrienol could rescue cell death. Acetate-T, not Succi-T, plays a similar

and acetate-T. Btw, the Edison pharmaceutical is located in San Francisco.
The guy is Guy Miller, you can pubmed him. CSYang is doing tocopherol last
time I talked to him. Although, he mentioned that his lab is also looking
at tocotrienol. As for the cancer study, Yang said the clinical trial that
increased prostate cancer incident was done poorly. The trial used wrong
tocopherol and wrong form of selenium.

oxidant activity because they are fully oxidized. Biologically,
tocotrienols are way stronger redox modulating molecules than tocopherols.
Go google Edison pharmaceutical and their compounds, it looks like work in
human. However, I can tell you the mechanism(s) and molecular targets are
unknown. |

check the literature yourself since I heard most of them from a friend
working on it.
1. Acetate-T is the synthesized form that chemist believe will be
bioavailable. If you can find some PK/PD data, it will be believable. Succi
-T is the so-called conjugated form in vivo, a product by Phase I and II
enzymes. Many chemicals will be converted to this kind of form in liver to

I wish I would have read some of the reviews and did a little research
before purchasing this product! The vitamin E in these soft-gels is the
synthetic form of vitamin E, dl-alpha tocopherol. Notice the "l"? Natural
vitamin E, the one I want, is d-alpha tocopherol with mixed tocopherols. The
"l" is a tip-off that this vitamin E is not natural, but synthetic.

发帖数: 298 | 19 正在做一个小分子抗癌药的作用机制。DCFH-DA分析证实该药物可诱导体外培养的瘤细
胞内产生ROS。我推测ROS可能介导该药物对肿瘤细胞的杀伤作用。
奇怪的是当我用多种抗氧化剂预处理细胞时，NAC，YCG063和Sodium L-ascorbate等均
不能阻滞该药物诱导的细胞死亡，但α-Tocopherol却可逆转此药物诱导的细胞死亡。
我看了好多文献，NAC和α-Tocopherol的效果往往一致，我的实验却相反。特请大侠们
解说一下这里的机制。
另外，有没有一种ROS检测试剂注射到小鼠体内后，可实时反映异种瘤内ROS的水平并可
成像检测的方法。

格人的人体实验。
一样说道vitamin e的例子，在select这个大规模trial之前，你去问做这个研究的大牛
，估计大牛都会支持说vitamin e有抗癌的效果，因为大量的animal,epidemiological
data支持；或者强大的生物理论支持，你要是不相信vitamin e的antioxidant效果和
antioxidant的健康效果，你估计就是民科。你要是去问fda/epa或者其他政府机构，
fda虽然估计没有批准vitamin e，但是估计也会说，到现在没有任何数据说人类服用
vitamin e有不良效果的，维生素片全球几亿人估计天天吃。
最后,select结果一出来，这个领域几乎死掉；虽然领域的很多人发文章说select的
science是错误的，比如说不应该使用alpha tocopherol,而应该是gamma tocopherol。
到最后，严格控制的人体实验才是一切，而不是什么大牛，生物常识，政府机构。有人

发帖数: 15396 | 40 柴鱼最近很忙,被人盯在屁股后面要一个废水管道模型,555..今天终于把大体的做完了,
test run了24小时，没有errors,有些小warnings。接下来只要改改小问题就好了，会
轻松一点。。
那个熊牌鱼油我不再给了，开始的时候是考虑到新鲜问题。后来被告知不要买塑料瓶的
液体鱼油。说是塑料是多孔表面，鱼油和塑料会有一定的反应，不是很好。如果想要液
体的，推荐iceland pure,他们是金属瓶子包装.
吃鱼油同时吃ve是因为omega 3太多会block ve吸收，保险起见就另外补充ve。我现在
没给了。ve一般都是plant based,我家的吃了一瓶半之后好像有点过敏，会痒痒，所以
给停了。如果要买ve,要买d-Alpha Tocopherol的，这个最容易吸收。
我个人不喜欢补充任何不需要的东西。我觉得给任何supplement都需要一个理由。知道
狗缺什么补什么。比如说我不会给T补充Efa。因为它里面有epa, dha, la, gla, va,
vd, ve.我知道T不需要补充那么多东西，所以就不给了，赫赫。 |

防腐剂分天然的和人工的两种。人工防腐剂（artificial antioxidant/ artificial
preservative）是有毒有害物质，但是保质时间长，估计所有的干粮和部分猫狗罐头在
使用。artificial antioxidant包括：ethoxyquin, butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT)
, and butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA)。天然防腐剂常见的就是维生素e/c之类的，
相对没有太大坏处（只要不超量就没毒，最多可能影响猫粮的酸碱平衡），不过这类防
腐剂保存时间短（<100天，比所有干粮的保质期都短）。天然防腐剂包括：
tocopherols (vitamin E), ascorbic acid (vitamin C), citric acid, and
rosemary。FDA要求添加防腐剂成分要在成分中注明的。所以，再次申明：买猫粮，第
一重要的是看ingredients。不过，这个也不是完全保险的。因为厂家可以买使用
ethoxyquin/BHA/BHT进行过预处理的肉类，而不在产品 |

product meal, corn gluten meal, brewers rice, soybean meal。
Kirkland是costco自己的厂牌，所以kirkland pet food 也是costco自己出的。成分前
五位是Chicken, chicken meal, whole grain brown rice, ground white rice,
chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols)
那到底那些牌子比较好呀？在版上经常看到的是wellness, core 什么的，那是全称吗？

猫基本不需要碳水，玉米是最便宜的，用来增加分量和让猫豆成行
2、成份一般是从多到少排，第二第三居然就是碳水，很烂
3、用防腐剂animal fat preserved with mixed-tocopherols (form of Vitamin E)，
虽然写着form of vitamin E
4、用化学调味剂phosphoric acid
等等。。。。以上一条都可以把这粮食扔掉了
太糟糕了。。。。
