今天匆匆忙忙赶着去NJ出个差，路上由于有条小路被block了（一个大树被hurricane吹
倒了挡在路上），所以没按原先GPS设置的路线走，GPS重新计算后，把我带到了好像是
C的不远处的前方一个toll station。因为这出差地方之前去过两次，如果那条小路没
被block，从那小路走就不需要经过这个toll station。
谁知道C前方的那个toll station情况吗？我从google street view上看不到这个toll
station，但我很确定经过C点前方有一个toll station，离C点很近。我顺着绿箭头开
到一条既收cash又接受EZ Pass的lane，当我开到窗口时，发现那里根本没人，看了旁
边收cash的lane，也没人，看起来是个废弃的station。我不确定这个toll station收
不收费，发现没人时，我就把自己的ez pass挂上。之前没挂ez pass是因为我需要用现
金支付拿收据，这样才能报销。

如果查这些toll station都在哪个位置，如果这route有三四个toll stations。我不能
在手机上设置avoid toll，因为不值得为有的toll station绕太多道。
我想知道一个google map route有tolls的话，这些toll stations具体都在哪个地方，
然后再查收费多少，值不值得绕道。 |

发帖数: 323 | 7 圣诞在Miami附近玩了5天，租的AVIS的车，没有sunpass，回来以后过几天发现信用卡
被charge了$11.5的toll。这个完全有可能，因为Miami附近到处都是toll，我们很有可
能miss掉一个。但是有几个比较怀疑的问题：
1.信用卡显示AVIS RENTACAR TOLLS 866-2556063 NY US。这个NY是因为AVIS公司在NY
还是toll发生在NY？网上看到有人也是在FL租AVIS，根本没去过NY，但是被charge了NY
的toll。之前租车的费用显示的是AVIS FL。
2.网上看到有人complain说以后还会不断收到toll charge，如果miss掉toll一般会在
多久之类补交钱？

发帖数: 260 | 11 也算是小概率事件了, 给以后遇到类似情况的坛友们攒点儿经验.在打电话给信用卡公
司之前,尝试着能不能自己解决了.
2012年12月去Chicago旅游.在Ace rent a car租了辆车, 去outlets的时候走的toll
road. 出口的收费机器当时没有工作, 投币之后,发现毫无反应....
下车检查之后发现里面全部是quater, dime之类的硬币(现在想想当时就应该抓一塑料
袋出来.....),把进币口堵死了. 后面陆续有车过来, 我们就开走了.
1月底被Rent a toll TX 在我租车用的credit card上面charge了12.99刀.在此之前没
有得到任何公司的任何notice.
解决ing:
(1)联系了Rent a toll TX, RENT A TOLL, LTD 866-2940331 TX. 等了N分钟,转了3个
接线员, 被告知钱不是他们收的(Y的,最后还不是进了他家账户....), 让联系I-Pass

反复收到不同的要交toll fee的通知，有几次toll是2-5块，可是还有processing fee
25，上面还写着直接charge我的信用卡（当时租车用的那个信用卡2010年5月31号过期
，万幸啊），还连带着车violate toll被拍下的照片。可是这明显不是我租的。其实从
第一次收到开始我就每次都给管toll fee collect的那个third party 公司写email要
纠正，让他们charge到租车人的头上，四五次也没纠正过来。最后严肃的说他们再这样
我要找律师告他们，现在也许纠正过来了.....
所以LZ赶快现在处理这个，要不这辆车以后每次violate toll都可能算你头上。
PS：LZ租车是3月25么？如果是的话那我们的情况还不太一样。 |

了toll booth。因为出差到midwest，那时候不知道在高速的路上会有pay toll。看到
旁边的booth还以为是出口。不像north east的toll road，如果需要付费，driver一定
需要减速，pay了后，才能通过toll booth。这个illinois的系统，如果不知道的话，
肯定会miss掉。正70mi/hr开着的时候，谁会想着旁边类似出口的地方会是一toll
booth？

bridges and certain stretches of highway ?
There is a proposal for a $14 charge to cross the new Tappan Zee
Bridge across the Hudson river just north of NYC. Currently it is five
dollars. There are commuter discounts for people who cross every day and
local pols want to exempt other people too.

LD刚来LA开车去SD，结果中间有一个toll road。以为有地方让停然后给钱，结果开完
了，都没有见
到收钱的地方。结果今天收到ticket了，说toll raod 4块多，加上penalty of
overdue，一共
55块钱。
知道很多州都是，如果第一次误闯，一般都没什么，而且，所有的toll road都有交钱
的地方。现在问
题是，并没有通知我们交钱，直接过了一个星期就给了一张overdue的罚单。上个星期5
的事情。
1.如何argue这种penalty
2.如果不付，会有什么情况？吊销驾照？（我觉得他们是抢钱的行为，故意等到
overdue了才给
notice）
3.如果不付，我们都要搬到外州去了可以么？ |

费站，也不知道要交toll，结果今天收到罚单，说除了要补交toll之外还要交57.5的
penalty。。。。
罚单是一个叫做The Toll Roads的公司出的，好像是这个local route 73的owner。想
请问一下这个能不能不交啊？他们会不会来催帐啊，或者以后去加州会不会有麻烦？或
者能不能打电话去appeal？如果只交toll不交penalty就还OK。

明天要上庭contested hearing
情况是警察在405 express toll lane pull over了我，说我在左边的toll lane上开
55mph，限速60mph，别的车要从右边的道超我，给我开了罚单，原因是fail to drive
on the right side of road
request了discovery，他的sworn statement上说，在mile post 16 pull over了我，
我当时速度55mph，他跟了1mile，我都是这个速度，其间有其他车从右侧车道超过我。
然后他用了引号说我说“认为慢车开在左侧是正确的”。
问题是，我当时并没有这样讲，我跟他讲分明是，我在merging zone，有车并进来toll

520 bridge for so many years. finally, all they got was to toll.
This makes think New York city. Back when I lived in NYC, I had to pay toll
to drive to New Jersey, to Queens, to Brooklyn. One word, if you live in
NYC and have a car, you have to pay to drive outside of NYC. Now Seattle is

, I drove through the tolled bridge between the Gig Habor and Tacoma. ( it
was not much, maybe 4 or 5 dollars.)
I was in the inner lane. when I noticed that I needed to switch lanes to pay
the tolls, it was too late.( so many cars behind me and quiet fast. There
was no safe way for me to park and walk back to the toll booth to pay.)

toll fee还有他家的daily service fee，好像是个叫platepass的服务
请问是不是这样以后要是租车的话路过toll lane都直接开过去不用交钱了？可以回来

如果是自己的车，每一次违规要交100美元的罚款
如果是租的车，因为租车公司都有和Toll Road的协议，所以不用付100美元，但是也要
加数倍罚款
在Florida呆了一周，有两个Toll因为走错了Lane，没有付款。估计也就是4或者5美元

费站，也不知道要交toll，结果今天收到罚单，说除了要补交toll之外还要交57.5的
penalty。。。。
罚单是一个叫做The Toll Roads的公司出的，好像是这个local route 73的owner。想
请问一下这个能不能像local parking ticket一样不交啊？他们会不会来催帐啊，或者
以后去加州会不会有麻烦？或者能不能打电话去appeal？如果只交toll不交penalty就
还OK。

说是俺上个月在加州某条路上没有交toll.小弟东海岸人士,看罚单上日期我当时确实在
加州,租的车,不过不记得这个license 是不是我租的车的车牌了. 我发誓绝对没有故意
要逃toll,怎么也想不起来哪里有收费站而我没有看到? nnd 现在罚单来了.
一些信息:
Time: 8:18pm
Location: Catalina View North Lane 12
Amount of toll: 4.75
Penalty: 55
Total due: 59.75
有加州的兄弟帮忙看一下,我应该怎么办?
google maps 上找不到这个地址,也想不起来我当时在哪里. 有没有人知道这个地址是
哪里? 是不是有这个收费站? 我实在是在路上没有看到啊...
另外,这个能argue 么? 扣点么? 严重不?

对贵宝地实在不熟，跟gps，一路走上了73。
应该是经过一个收费站，路分成了两边，一边pay toll， 一边说是什么fast。
以为pay toll和正常高速一样是运货卡车要去的地方，就没下，直接开过了
一直开到5号
回家才听说那段73是收费路啊？！ 杯具鸟
看来是要被拍照罚款了？？ 我到thetollroads.com上看，可以补交，可是plate
number 显示以前有violation, 不qualify one-time reduction.
那我可以开个fast帐号，交15刀，然后免了罚款吗？
可以说是我朋友开我的车吗？她没有任何previous violation
还有一个问题，没有感觉到像在交通路口一样被闪光灯闪了， 还是被拍照了？ 是因为

miss 了大概两三个toll. 给租车公司打电话，说让我在orlando的公司去要一个toll
pass. 然后还说miss 的 toll的钱他们会交的，最后会charge 租车人的信用卡。请问

fee, 包括$6的citation fee和$10的admin fee, 说是可以打电话去交, 结果上个星期
断断续续打了一个星期都没人接, 好浪费时间, 请问有何建议? 加拿大的toll fee单子
不可以网上处理的? 还有加拿大在美国有没有负责这些toll fee的agency? 谢谢... |
