half years old now. His adenoid was removed one year ago. We don't know the
risk and disadvantage for removing his tonsil. Can anyone, who had thus

问了网上的护士,告曰'tonsil stone'. 试过很多方法, 每天刷牙三次,双氧水mouth
wash. 效果不明显, 还总有白色的东西冒出,只好用筷子挑挤出来.可这样不卫生,而且
也烦.

发帖数: 671 | 4 嗓子持续痛了一个月，没有别的症状. 其实痛倒不是撕裂的那种严重的痛，但是感觉嗓
子里面有很多很多的滤泡'，有种咽喉被堵起来的感觉, 自己照镜子发现一个白色的形
状不规则的半突起的泡。去看了gp说是象个cyst. Refer去看ENT。
我做过encapsulate扁桃体切除，但是感冒后还是会嗓子痛。以前去问过做手术的医生
，说看起来右边略有长出来. 现在右边可能有tonsil cyst ，不知道是怎么回事？另外
半年前做过甲状腺超声，说有个胶状囊肿不碍事。还因为有reflux导致的声带长期发炎
, 半年前当时的Gp提醒我要注意Barrett食管.
现在嗓子堵得难受，声带也有问题说不出来话。不知道到底是什么引起的，不会是哪里
癌变了吧？求助。 |

sleep study, but he didnt sleep well due to huge tonsils. It was a small
surgery, lasted for about 40 min. He recovered quite well, played a soccer
game four days lafter the surgery. After the surgery, he sleeps much better. |

打完两天了，今天下午娃娃嗓子哑了。晚上俺回家后娃娃choking两次。俺不放心。儿
医建议去ER检查喉咙。俺在家听了肺是好的。no fever, cough, wheezing or
shortness of breath. Activity, intake and output are good. 家里没有压舌板和
otoscope.去了ER,ER里人山人海。连坐的地方都没有。俺找到ER attending和Peds ER
resident,说俺不是来看会诊的（和他们开玩笑啦），俺女儿嗓子哑了，general Peds
让俺们来的。还好，俺自己用ER的otoscope和压舌板看了娃的throat.真要狠心用劲往
下压啊。没看到tonsil or peri tonsil enlargement.ER attending也没看到肿大，放

以前就知道tonsil大 但是儿医也没说要切
两个月前刚做了个小手术
surgeon 和 麻醉 当时的反映是孩子的tonsil huge
麻醉插管都困难
做了sleep study
现在问过的所有的医生都建议切
我们挺闹心的 因为小妹妹平时非常皮实
切了到是省心了 而且今年保险已经过了out of pocket maximum 自己不要掏钱 |

The Dx of sleeping apnea can be established with polysomnography.
For the treatment of snoring, several suggestions.
1. Change the position of sleeping, sleep on one side,
2. Some spray may increase the tone of the throat muscle, that helps in mild
case. (OTC)
3. CPAP is good choice for sleeping apnea.
4. tonsillectomy is treatment of choice for those who got swollen tonsil
blocking the airway.
5. Surgery, that is not always accepted, final resort. |

看了牙医，说是牙齿没有问题。问我孩子尿床不，我说有，还问我是不是张着嘴喘气，
