发帖数: 5892 | 1 日前，加拿大一名房屋评估员因评估出错而被卑诗省高级法院(B.C. Supreme Court)判定向一对北温哥华夫妇赔偿近20万元。
夫妇二人于2006年9月份买下了这座价值110万的住宅。这名评估员名叫Imre Toth，Aldergrove人，当时他收取了450元的评估费，但是没有为夫妇二人检查整个住宅，也没有建议他们在购房之前请一位结构工程师来评估一下。结果Toth对房屋维修费用2万元的估计还不到实际维修费(21.2万元)的十分之一。
虽然Toth与夫妇二人签订了一项协议，限定了评估员的责任，但法官发现，Toth并没有给予夫妇二人足够的时间来阅读合同，也没有着重向他们提醒自己的责任有限定。
法庭要求Toth向夫妇二人支付19.2万元，以弥补评估费用与实际费用间的差额。
与本案不相关的另外一名温哥华房屋评估员Sean Wiens称，他从来没有听说过这么大额的赔偿判定，希望该案可以使评估业设定更严格的条例。“一般的评估员在房屋现场只会呆3个小时或更少时间，我认为一整天才是合理的评估时间。” |

旅美中国历史学者朱学渊在9月号的「历史月刊」上撰文指出，依姓氏考据，法国总统
沙克吉是中国北方民族少皞氏的后代。
朱学渊指出，沙克吉（Nicolas Sarkozy）的父亲是匈牙利贵族保罗．沙克吉（匈牙利
名为Nagy-Bocsay Sarkozy Pal），而匈牙利民族的祖先可追溯到以女真为代表的中国
北方民族。
保罗．沙克吉姓Sarkozy，名Pal，前面的Nagy是匈牙利语的「大」字，Bocs是女真姓氏
「蒲察」，Nagy-Bocsay是部落名「大蒲察」。因此他是「大蒲察的沙克吉家的保罗」。
保罗母亲的姓名为Csafordi Toth Katalin，她的娘家姓氏Toth是匈牙利头号大姓，也
就是女真姓氏「拓特」。

省法庭法官托特(Judge Clifford Toth)在8月18日的裁决文写道﹕「我只能认定﹐警方不理解保存和披露证据的义务。」托特的批评﹐针对沙斯卡寸旺省所有骑警分队﹐及其保存监控视频录像的政策。
托特裁定﹐指控司机醉酒开车的个案需撤销。涉案司机2009年6月在拉姆斯登(Lumsden)被骑警截停﹐怀疑他酒后驾车。被告被带到警队﹐以进行呼吸测试。

习总书记近日讲“空谈误国”，其实科技界的误国之风也不可小视，这就是研究方向的

氢能研究的热度从1997年Nature发表一篇碳纳米管储氢文章开始升高。我国的研究
热情被1999年Science发表沈阳金属所的一篇文章、且被两院院士选定为1999年我国基

卑诗省一个钓鱼导游与4个男子，上周在菲沙河（Fraser River）合力捕获一条300公斤
重的鱘鱼。他们是经过近3小时角力，才把巨型鱘鱼弄出水面。
在芝里华克（Chilliwack）开设一家钓鱼公司、现年40岁的托特（Rod Toth）说：「最
初，我真的不知道牠有多大，但经过约一个半小时后，我就告诉同伴，我们钓到一条很
特別的东西?珥?珥牠的力度足以拉动整艘船。」
他们用三文鱼做饵，很快就有鱼上钓。但当他们试图把鱼拖出水面时，每次总是被牠扯
回去。结果托特和同伴要用车轮战，轮流同巨鱼角力，而这场搏斗足足维持了2小时45
分钟。
近3小时车轮战始擒获
最后当大伙合力把这条筋疲力竭的鱘鱼拉起时，才发现牠长达3米，身体圆周达1.4米左
右，是他们过去捕获到的最大条鱼。
根据法例，消閒钓获的鱘鱼必须放生。托特等人后来把这条鱘鱼移到河边，替牠钉下了
纪录牌，就把牠放回菲沙河。
而对於托特和他的4个同伴——两个来自卑诗省维农市（Vernon）、两个来自亚省卡加
利（Calgary）——来说，这次都是他们的钓鱼生涯纪录。
