This is to invite you to 2006 St. Louis Chinese Volleyball Tournament to be
held at St. Louis Community College at Forest Park on Saturday, 8:30AM-4:
30PM, November 4th. This is the same place as last year.
If you know someone not in this email who would like to form a team and
participate, please extend the invitation.

发帖数: 70 | 6 俺不是啥资深球迷，只是一个普通的tar heels,写几句谈谈今天的比赛吧。
这场比赛输得比较可惜，毕竟曾经领先十多分，但是总体上达到保8争4的目标了。其实
tourny开始前无论从官方还是民间的看法，GT都应该是这个赛区的no.1 seed,tar
heels靠着最后拿了ACC tourny title才勉强拿到这个一号种子,所以俺们的目标就是
Elite 8，进final 4算赚了。
今天的比赛以被翻盘的方式输了，并不是意外，前面acc内部打比赛输给maryland和acc
tourny决赛胜NC state都暴露了同一个问题，这也是freshmen为主的球队的一个通病，
领先了就开始松懈，对方追分，然后自己进攻choke，无法遏制对方的得分势头，不同
的是，
打GT和maryland输了，打state侥幸赢了而已。GT是典型的中锋球队，有超级中锋，unc
对对方中锋的防守基本是绕前，不让传球，一旦球到了中锋手里，就只能祈祷对方中锋
的手感了，hansbrough和wright基本防不住。 今天比分拉开就是对方中锋一度手感不
好，然后打自己拿手的快速进攻。roy的球队的特点就是打快 |

发帖数: 557 | 7 poof，老鲨鱼，striper参加过海钓的tourny，刚才看itiger也参加过，奖金/实物最高
的是poof那个，奖品是几条船，但强度很高，昨天poof说是连续钓一个月，在麻州的
marthas vineyard，长岛那边有本地海钓的tourny，几年前老鲨鱼和striper参加的时
候，奖品是van staal的轮子。
建议版上有船的，在附近找个buddy，周末没事的时候参加类似比赛，不一定是最大最
正规的比赛还是要说bassmaster classics/elite，那个需要本地一点点打起，很多业
余的比赛也是很有意思，比赛中经验值的增长是很大，另外也可以整体提高老中的钓鱼
水平，说不定拿个冠军上本地报纸，或者上钓鱼专门报道，还有奖金奖品。 |

起来感到和他差距。据他说是从他儿子那学了不少东西。他现在Tourny和League都还不
到1950。但我估计再打两次Tourny他的分数就要上2000了。先写在这以后可以BSO一下
我的眼光。横直，看了后不要有压力欧。

. Only very very few tournies use that 30 minutes blinds level. To be honest
, I do not like it at all, because it is too slow. We can not afford 15+
hours to play one tourney.
Usually PS's structure is very quick, although it usually has 15 minutes
blinds level, but they lack a lot of blinds levels.

My tournies run poorly also.
Rush poker does not serve me well. get -34BB/100 on 25NL. -10BB/100 on 50NL.
Play a lot of Cash HU NL, I am a winner on that.
Play some HU SNG, I am a winner also.
Will switch to MTT next month.

couple of mitbbs IDs formed a MITBBS team for the St. Louis Volleyball
Tourny.
Most team members haven't met each other yet. We contacted through MITBBS
and email only.
Since we r not sure about our power yet and most of us haven't play a lot of

中国有位职业棋手评说欧洲的kyu级选手明显比中国的要硬。软硬这个东西太虚，对我
来说具体就是地雷大小的问题。
很明显，法国人是最大的地雷群。我在两赢一输以后的碰上的两个法国人都把我雷的不
轻。后来拿到他们的kgs上id回去一看，都是3,4kyu的报了7,8kyu的。和一个朋友
Olivier抱怨这个问题。Olivier说是因为法国请了Fan Hui 2P做他们的国家围棋教练，
所以法国整体水平就比其他欧洲国家强那么一点。做为证据，他说平常在法国国内的
tourny，要报kgs-5子，而欧洲的只要kgs-4子。
于是我很郁闷，感觉8k就是比7k弱一个子，7k就是比6k差一个。怎么法国8k就和人家的
3k等同上了。明显是大家争先恐后当地雷，把船涨上去了么。你们自己在国内玩玩就算
了，还跑到EGC上玩。
后来发现，除了法国人一般是kgs -4以外，荷兰的一般是kgs -3，德国要好一些kgs -1
到2。英国人最诚实，一般都是kgs +/-1。于是养成了一个习惯，每次下棋之前查对手
国籍，还是很能准确估计他的水平的，呵呵。有一次又碰上一个法国人，于是我和
Richard抱怨 |
