当居住在新泽西州Monroe Township的华裔王小晔Xiaoye Wang(译音)上个月中旬身体感到不
适自行到Priceton医学中心就诊时，他的病情看似很平常，当时王在就诊时向医生描述的病情和
一般性的流感很相似。
从医院就诊后的近两星期的时间，王小晔仍然感觉身体不适，就在上个月25日，经过医院的详细检
查和化验，结果出炉，认定王小晔身体的不适是thallium(铊)中毒。在化验报告出来的第二天，
王小晔就在Princeton医院病逝。
由于王小晔因铊中毒死亡，高度被怀疑是被人下毒，经过新泽西州警方和FBI人员深入调查后，于

County下有City或Town。
收的地方税一般交到County级别，由County支配。

有一个政府还嫌不够。
每月最少交几十块钱还隔两年就涨，一看账目细则，除了维护公共草坪，竟然很多是小
区马路照明，每周收垃圾，这tm不是都交了税该township管吗。然后还有罚业主款的
legal cost，这都羊毛出在羊身上。
觉得HOA就是当地政府为了减少开支和开发商一起攒出来的一个垃圾组织。
一个最NC的论点是HOA把各家各户管的服服帖帖让每家外观都一样，能提升房子价值。
可是现在几年去看新房，售房处都把不设HOA作为一个卖点，明显大都知道HOA sucks。
以后再买房坚决找没有HOA的。 |

the parking lot of a western Pennsylvania gun store Saturday and the shot
killed his 7-year-old son, authorities said.
Joseph V. Loughrey, 44, was getting into the truck when the 9 mm handgun

虽然一般这些地方政府在county边界里，也有一个city由两个county的一部分共同组成
的。
纽约这样的巨无霸很少。
city和county的职能有的完全没有联系，有的county管city的一些事物，比如警察，排
水啊。主要是看地方税的收入如何分配。
现在很多county和county里的最大的city合并了，只有一个政府。
这时候，city的边界和county完全一样，但是也有虽然合并了，但是
city有自己的边界，city 之外的是unincorporated或者再有几个小 city.
那么这时候，这个统一的city/county政府对city limit意外的地方就是county的职能，
对city limit内的地方就是city的职能。
反正很复杂。但是一句话，就是看税谁收，谁就负该负的职责。 |

要说游泳池还是欧洲的好，德国的每个township都有室内25米池，很多加一个室外50米
，门票比美国便宜很多，都有儿童专用加热池，所以25米池不会太浅水不像美国搞得巨
